Hmmm...g35??? 306hp/3.5cc=87.42hp/per litr... more power per litre! Without turbo's that is. Anyway bro, I aint against Inline 6's at all.....they are the best formation ....linear and smooth power delivery

True, that is the only one that comes in close... And I say close as you can rate the HP the way you want, but again, the RWHP is much closer than that, and 3.0 N52 probably beats it there...
But again, that is a single one out of many V6 vs. not too many I6 engines...

Just searched to see if the '09 Lincoln MKS was talked about here.

Check out the site my team created for the reveal of it.
It's really not a bad car - it has it's deficiencies, yes, but I've seen the thing in person and it's got some cool tech and it ain't that bad looking (ok, don't rip me for sounding bias...)

Knowing the brand really well, it does have the stigma of being "grandpa's" car.
Launch of the "new" Lincoln brand is 5/29/08
It'll be interesting to hear what you guys think of the new direction.

Haha...Well searched, you brought back this thread from the dead i.

About the car, I do like the exterior design of the car but not the interior. If the twin turbo engine is available, this will be one fast 'Grandpa' sedan.

About the website, I like the dark background and easy to find functions. Over all , I love the design And what about the twin turbo V6?? NO mention on that. Any idea on when its going to be available(TT)?

On a sidenote,I would really advice you to start your own thread. My thread was mainly about the engine so.....

Ahh, I took a breath and decided that the Lincoln is indeed a fine car, for your grandpa.

Yeah, sorry for bringing back the dead.
The twin turbo will be out 2nd quarter.

I think you'd be mildly surprised if you sat in one. But I get where you're coming from. Like I said, it has its deficiencies.

Um, I get what you're saying. But as OBI_Agent asks, why the intensity? It's alright man, BMW practices their model of mass production and so does the Ford Motor Company. We all want a slice of the pie, and some of it tastes much better that other slices. But that's why we all "bake" - it's called competition, and it helps us all around. F*ck, I used a baking metaphor - sorry guys.

KS, it's an emergency fuel shut off valve just in protos and demo cars.

Thank you sir. It's won an FWA and has been well received and doing well - although the new marketing hauncho at Ford did not like the "soft porn jazz soundtrack" and the vapor/smoke transistions were not to his liking. It was designed and launched before he stepped in.

I know what you mean, but somehow I think your '08 E92 M3 has a little (and I mean, tiny) American innovation owed to a man named Henry Ford.

Do you mean for Ford to be the first mass produced automobiles? Coz the credit of the world's first automobile should go to the founder of Mercedes Benz.

Bro, I will be really honest with you....I don't like the mustang either.
My main reasoning behind it is, it could have been so much better if Ford would have tried harder on handling and interior.
I also despise the fact that a 500hp shelby isn't fast enough and handles like a floater.
Anyway, Ford wanted to keep it a economical car affordable for most, so thats what you get for undercutting a product.

On a ending note,I am really excited about the next mustang redesign, due in 2010. The upcoming design will take it's cues from 'mustang giugiaro concept' and hopefully , we will have a beauty.
+ with a option of tt v6, this car is going to be really appealing.

My bone is more with the disposable perfromance car concept. Particularly the 5.0, I consider it the Saturday night special of cars.

Seems like Ford managed it again! That is, to design a awfully looking car with cheap interior good only for grandpa!
