You cant generalize the actions of your employees to those people that can legally carry a firearm....and especially to those that know the proper circumstances on when you can draw the firearm. Not everybody that carries is a stupid head

Most of the conceal carry courses in VA are taught by police officers, and they dont have a problem with us carrying a gun legally. Too bad NY is restrictive with their carry law.

And again... it better to be prepared than not be prepared. It's like a condom in your wallet... you just dont know when you'll ever need it, but it's better to have one than not

I'm 53 days in to a 75 day lead time on my Raven Concealment holster for the G36. A buddy got one for his G21 w/ x300 - waiting on seeing it and I'll more than likely be dropping the hammer on one.

Enjoy it. Damn things will eat anything.
Thanks! It sounds like you have quite a bit of experience with Glock pistols.

The Raven Concealment holsters are very nice indeed.

I was considering this one actually: http://www.themalabarfront.com/produ...oducts_id=1561

Indeed, .45 ACP is a tad more expensive at the moment too.

Nice setup! A friend suggested a heavier recoil spring for the 23 but I've found that the recoil is just fine.

Thanks. I respect your opinion. I hope I never have to use it when I'm carrying but I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. We live in a crazy world.

Well, this just happened 45 minutes south of where I live, during an event with an extraordinarily high level of police presence. Glad I wasn't downtown that night. That area of Indianapolis is usually extremely safe.

http://www.ibj.com/ten-wounded-in-3-.../article/21166

This is why if you are responsible individual who is trained how to handle a weapon (and you are carrying it legally), it can save your life if you find yourself caught up in a bad situation.

So you're from Canada...eh?

I guess there are no violent or deadly crimes outside the states?

But it really has nothing to do with where you live. It's protection for the rare instance that one might need one. If nothing happens, then no harm done and it stays out of sight. And if you still dont get the concept, then you just dont get it....especially if you're from an area that is not allowed to own or carry a gun legally.

Anyways...if you dont appreciate firearms, just please ignore any threads that talks about it

Thank you.

Lol at the NY and Canadian guys. Come live where I do for a month. You'll be glad you have that awful thing when your cars broken down 15 miles from anything in the woods at night. Or just drive around Memphis, TN. You'll get a similar feeling after a short while.

Btw, nice choice. Glocks are rock solid, just sucks most of them don't seem to fit my hands well.

1) I never said I didn't like firearms. Don't jump to conclusion buddy.

2) I do still get the concept that if you are in a dangerous environment and you are trained with your gun, then fine. But, from what I can see, he does not look like a drug dealer, or some gangster/gang member. I just find it weird. That's it.

3) And for the Black Expo thing... it is obvious it is related to some gang conflicts.

It has nothing to do about only carrying in a dangerous environment... who is to say that a normally serene environment wont turn into shit at any moment? It's called being prepared for any circumstances. I would rather have the gun and not need it, then need a gun and dont have one on me.

you watch to many movies, drug dealers and gangters are definitely not the only non police people that need a weapon. With the economy the way it is people are robbing even more these days. Its one of those things you have to experience to understand how dangerous it is.

Not going to debate with the anti gun left. They dont have to own or carry. I dont care what they do. And I dont give a shit about their opinion on the subject either.

Nice 23. I might add one to my safe in a year or two.

Oh my god.

I am NOT an anti-gun for fs. I just think carrying a gun with you ALL the day, is a bit extreme if especially your job does not tend to be dangerous/meet dangerous people.

Ya I know that they are fucked up people, and people are willing to do anything for money.

Thats it. At your house, fine.

Thanks. Yeah they feel great in the hands of some and terrible in the hands of others. The 1911 grip is pretty damn hard to beat.

Take a look at some of the Springfield Armory 1911 models too, they are definitely pricey but I've heard they're excellent.

Hickok is the man.

For the 23 you can expect to pay in the $500-600 range including tax.
