You are awesome (no sarcasm)
From one Honda lover/owner to another, beautiful. I could be mistaken but your fairings look aftermarket; is that correct? Quote:

BTW...I love the flushed/clear turn signals. Very clean IMO. Do you have rear cameras on your bike or do you just look behind you every so often? Reason I asked is because I noticed you didn't have any side mirrors.

Take a look around, NO ONE rides a liter bike that's just starting out. Now why would you say that is? Because you do not have the skills or responsibility of controlling 160hp between your legs. You know you can do 60mph in first gear right?

Based on my personal experiences in this community, I have witnessed that for the most part, people help encourage and educate others.
Based on my experience in the world of two wheels, people commend and acknowledge others (in a positive way) for the fact that they ride, regardless of what it is that they ride. I appreciate the positive attitudes so far as well as the support so lets try our best to keep it that way if possible. On another note, the first bike I ever jumped on was the GSX-R 600 that I currently own and I was 18 years old (currently I am 21). Too this day I still don't own any leathers other than a jacket. I laid the bike down for the first time 4 months after I first got it and it left a huge, agonizing road rash on the left side of my back and my left thigh. Obviously, at that point in time I had no skills when it comes to riding bikes. Three years later, I still have a LOT to learn. It was stupid on my part and I highly recommend leathers to anyone and everyone. A majority of new riders lay their bike down within the firs six months. I love motorcycles, regardless of what kind it is. All I ask is that we try to be safe and ride smart. -Hunter |

Just a heads up for anyone who is interested. We recently received a few HyperRev books from Japan for the Yamaha RX, Kawasaki ZX-XR, Ducati 1098/99X/74X, and Suzuki GSX-R.
If anything these books make great reading material. We also have the ability to acquire any and all parts in these 150+ paged books. Please PM if interested. -Hunter |

The bike only had about 400km's on it in that picture.... just waiting for it to get warmer out now so I can take around some twisties. Side note... went to a 1/4 track this past weekend. I ran 10.39 @ 139MPH |

I love it. In order to better understand the types of clientele in different car scenes, we have extended this thread concept to other threads such as S2ki and NAGTROC. On the NAGTROC forums a lot of owners are sporting carbon road bicycles or crazy mountain bikes. Thanks for the variety and feel free to post some pics of the BMX.

Start on an OLD 600SS (at most) or a newer bike that has less of an engine. If you start with what you think you need, you are going to have nothing but torn leathers and a messed up bike after a short while, and then you'll just get laughed at. I doubt that is what you are going for. try jumping on www.motorcycleforum.com or some other riding forums and you'll get the exact same thing, ESPECIALLY from people that started on new 600's. They know best!

Just got it running perfectly last weekend! 1984 Honda Shadow 700.
(This one isn't mine, my paint is pretty faded, but I love the beaten look of it)

Thanks Razzy and Hunter
I love the look of vintage bikes! Perhaps when I slow down a bit I will get something to just cruise on as well. D1911, that is the exact color combo I want for my Pazzo Shorty Shifters as well! Nice pick! Where did you pick up the bar end mirrors?
