Being a x-sneaker collector, x-sneaker shop order and x-sneaker reseller......I can say those shoes are disgusting. Auto designers have no business playing with sneakers.

Unless you're within arms-reach of an i8, those kicks are wayyy too space age.

I will say that I've been a fan of lace-less tensioning ever since I started using Sidi cycling shoes in the early 90s. My custom Dry Joys (golf shoes) have the same thing:
