100% the Silverado driver's fault. Absolutely moronic to cross a double-yellow ahead of a completely blind corner on a high-traffic road, I don't care what's on the other side of the road. You don't have to be going that fast to end up hitting a truck in your lane coming right at you after turning a blind corner. All of the damage is on the passenger side; there's no excuse for the lady in the truck.

Why would anyone use a turnout on the OPPOSITE side of the road right before a BLIND TURN? Totally the other driver's fault. A total lack of judgment and road awareness. Glad no one is hurt. Cars can be replaced.

No, because the cost outweighs the gains and I drive my M4 enough to warrant valid car insurance in my state. A lot of these exotics are garage queens or carry low risk of being damaged since they are driven so little.

Additionally, upon further research, don't think it is entirely legal. My argument was under the condition that it was legal.

it'll be interesting to see if its totalled out. if you want to say the car is worth 300k like he wants (given the current market) its going to make it harder to total it out. same reason why its impossible to total a mclaren, it costed 1 million to build and now they are worth 20 million. as long as the chassis still exists, they can rebuild it

I know in California they are starting crack down. Owners have been targeted at cars/coffee and during Monterey weekend. Rumored they were impounding some cars. It is borderline tax evasion. At the very least could induce an audit. California requires any vehicle in the state over 20 days to have proof of residency in other state.

There is actually a snitch website:
