I believe mainly due to weight/performance etc. Personally, I think it looks awesome. We've run some of our 20" VMR Wheels on the M4 without issue. Find the right width/offset/tire combination and you'll be rub-free

20s with dish all day! If no dish go single piece 19" wheels.
Definitely the lowest M4 I've seen to date and exactly how I'd do it on some KW3s. Don't like aftermarket springs mated to stock shocks.

I actually think it adds a bit of character, but as you know, your question is extremely subjective. I do want to add your car looks absolutely terrific! To those unfamiliar, you may be asked if it's a special model or something.
