Having owned both an RS5 and M3, they are very much priced perfectly beside an M3. It's just different strokes for different folks. They are fantastic cars though. The M3 is more fun and engaging though, in my opinion.

I get it and that's why as you said, it's opinion. I would struggle to own a performance car and not take it to the track. The peer group for this car offer much better actual out of the box performance. So it feels like they're asking too much if others can offer something similar in one area and much more in another. If you never cared about that other area then it really doesn't matter.

Similar to Porsche launch control. Traction control does not need to be deactivated.

He's talking about RS6 prices not RS5.

Exactly this. Everything is overpriced these days. The RS5 is appropriately priced to its competitors (which are all priced high as well). The world we live in...

I personally like my M3 more, Audi is FBO with all the 034 motorsports stuff. My F80 will murder it on a roll. RS5 is a GREAT daily though.

It's nice but doesn't have the RWD balance at the limit I enjoy.

You're not using the throttle right if you think this.

No what you are describing is a pendulum adjusted by your throttle not balance. Throttle swinging you from left to right and power shifting the weight from front to back.

AWD is balanced, unless it is some performance AWD which sends more power to the back in certain situations.

Engine sits nearly completely in front of the front struts? Yes it does, that is the Audi way!

I hated the runway style...the rev counter coming towards you seems odd. I kept it on the hockey stick looking one. I don't love any of the options nor do I love the options on the G80 (iDrive 8). All too busy in my opinion.

i'd rather have a macan s or gts.

same engine, better transmission, only 7% weight increase, air suspension. after having multiple dct cars its hard to go back to zf8 auto.
