Per Manfred's report, we stopped using the cameras during the 2018 regular season and they found nothing on us in 2019......and we had the best record in baseball (107 W). I know people will always just assume we're cheating now, but eventually they'll have to accept the fact that the Houston Astros have an incredibly talented team. Whether they like it or not

I still can't believe we blew this last World Series so bad. Houston sports in a nutshell

True, I guess saying we blew it is doing a disservice to the Nats. We definitely got beat. It's just so annoying to win 107 games and then lose ALL 4 at home during the World Series

All good. It's a lot easier to read these stories with the Nats winning it, but I feel for Dodger fans. I've read people calling for the vacating of titles, suspending players, and asterisks. What a mess.

As sad as I was to lose it last year, I was happy for y'all. I know that feeling after waiting a looooong time to win it. Y'all went on a hell of a run too, the baseball y'all were playing was fun to watch!

If they didn't vacate titles for PED/other cheating for other teams, then they wouldn't/shouldn't for us. I can definitely understand some of the feelings, and Dodgers fans can feel any way they want about it, but the numbers don't lie. We won 2 of our 4 games in LA. They won 1 of the 3 in Houston.

We lit up Darvish in Game 7, in LA. He even said himself that he was accidentally tipping pitches in both of his games. Hell, in game 7 alone they were like 1 for 13 with runners in scoring position and left at least 10 men on base (if I'm remembering correctly). Their offense all but disappeared numerous times throughout the series. You can't win if you can't hit or score, regardless of what the other team is doing

Dodgers can complain all they want but they also lost 4 games to 1 in 2018, including losing 2 of 3 in L.A. They scored 2 runs in one game and 1 run in another. Their offense disappeared. Can’t imagine World Series’ getting vacated because of this without also going back and re-writing history for PEDs, doctored baseballs, bad umpire calls, etc.

That said, Houston, Boston and any other teams who blatantly violate rules should definitely be penalized and embarrassed. Players should suffer some consequences and their union should endorse doing so if they are representing all players, including those who were not cheating.

Agreed on all accounts.

I hope the other teams doing it also get investigated/punished but I doubt it'll happen. It'll make MLB look too bad and they have a history of skirting major issues by punishing a few and then looking the other way.

I can think of a whole host of things worse than this stuff. Baseball has been corrupt since the 1800s, this is nothing new

If you've seen or heard some of the player reactions around the league (and former players), a lot of them already knew multiple teams across the league stole signs electronically. Most of it has been player-driven too.

Logan Morrison of the Brewers: "I know from first hand accounts that the Yankees, Dodgers, Astros, and Red Sox all have used film to pick signs," he wrote, per NJ Advance Media's Brendan Kuty. "Just want you guys to know the truth. I personally think it's a tool in a tool belt to pick signs, but if we are going to be punishing people for it. Don't half ass it."

Our stats in 2017 were still better on the road than they were at home (including post season). And the Red Sox/Yankees/Dodgers bats all went silent against our pitching during our run.....so all of these people saying we've ruined baseball and stole the World Series and are the worst of the worst, baseball has never seen this big of a scandal, blah blah blah are hypocritically hilarious

Edit: I also understand the excuse "well everybody is doing it" is also a bad one. We cheated, we got punished, end of story. It's just the moral high-ground preaching from people whose own teams have cheated for decades in one form or another (and have been caught/punished) is getting really, really, really old. Not accusing you of this either, just making a generalized statement/rant
