Them price gouging is called capitalism. Has nothing to do with what I said. We actually agree. I was just saying, "call a spade a spade."

We do every day. I am outside 2 to 3 hours and will be more as it warms up.

All you need to do is supply your own bucket of popcorn, gallon of soda, and sticky floors and you are all set!

So it's ok, in your eyes, for it to cost $100 for a family to go to the movies? Come on.

I have a decent 60" TV and surround system in our TV room. I can pause the movie if I want to top up my drink or use the WC, and I don't have to put up with screaming kids or whatever. |

Im hoping it sets a precedent so I dont have to go to the theater at all. I dont mind paying for first run movies I can play at home in my 85 Atmos theatre system.

THIS. So disappointing how shameless people can be while stealing. Even worse when they attempt to justify their theft by pointing to others.

I go to the movies MAYBE once a year. Recently just for Star Wars films although I missed the last one. I go to one of those theaters that has recliners with food and booze. It's pricey, maybe like $50 for the 2 of us, just for the movie and "free" popcorn. However since we rarely go I find it totally worth it. Never had any issues with noise or anything at this place.
Other than that I have 0 interest in 99% of the movies that come out. I certainly don't mind waiting however long until I can see them on Netflix or Amazon or Hulu or HBO or whatever at home. |

Seriously, I love watching movies at home. To say nothing of my system's superior performance... I can pause the movie, make my own food and drink, and nobody bothers me; it's great! I operate on the UHD (4K) Blu-Ray Disc release timeline. The only thing I do when a movie is in the theater is put it on my watchlist for when the disc comes out.

I go to the theater sometimes still as there is just something that's not easy to dismiss (big screen, big sound), I don't have a multimedia room set up in my home. I'll also go to support an actor/actress here and there, but there are so few good ones left that haven't drank the Progressive Koolaid! Those, I'll watch at home whenever... Idiots like Stallone, the 60 year old roid freak, who also came out against guns! Lmao! Guess he forgot about all those Rambo movies!? Donating all the profits he recieved from them back to the studios or to worthy causes. Yeah...
And those self righteous idiots who said they'd leave the country if a particular person won the presidency... I'm still waiting! Hahaha... But they're still here, still making movies, shows, etc. Don't feed the trolls! Lol |

Yeah.....Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Liam Neesom....all prospered on movie violence. But once people start forgetting them....they have to do something to get themselves back into the spotlight. Whatever the flavor of the month is....that's what they pick to stay relevant. Do as I say....not as I do. Oh....also please ignore all that growth hormone I'm trying to hide on my assistant. Fountain of Youth anyone???
