It's understandable considering the price difference you have in the US, especially as the driving experience isn't that different. But maybe when you test the S4 with Sportdiff you may consider the Audi a little different.

Also if the UK pricing is anything to go by then the S4 will be 10% cheaper than the S5.

I agree with the op on everything except the interior. Audi's are known to make great interior's...so....

S5 coupe got poor braking distance, enjoy replacing pads and rotors often like heavy A6TT 2.7L

Red S5 was a porker on the TV Motortrend test drive.
650i was nose heavy and lame in a steptronic, steering push understeer, intrusive traction control. I drove 645, 650, and 650 cab, not been in M6 yet.

I like B7 sedan better than a 650i

A4 is meh. S-line helps a lot.

A5/S5 are great. S-line is still necessary though.

M3 exterior is as good as the A5/S5 imo. They're just different. Interior is definitely lacking though.

I love the exterior of the A/S5. One of the best looks I've seen, IMO. But I can't lie...I was a little disappointed by the interior. Perhaps because the nav screen was so much smaller than my 335's. lol

still probably won't stop me from making an S5 my car next summer.

I almost waited to buy this car instead of my E92, but I'm glad I didn't. The exterior design is uninspiring and the interior looks cheap IMO. Of course, the S5 is gorgeous but price wise lines up better with an M3 and not a 335. Honestly, this A4, which was well optioned, wasn't nearly as nice inside as my 335 or even my friend's Mini. I think Audi is slipping looks wise.
not a fair comparison i dont think.

A4 should be measured against the E90 328/335. well, on looks and interior design, i think A4 hands down. E90 is so butt ugly stock and the interior is nowhere near Audi. A4 is not WOW like A5 but still a very handsome sedan.

E92 (which is what you have) should be measured against the A5/S5. looks-wise, sorry to say but i think A5/S5 is still much better looking than a stock E92. interior is also superior to ours.

i love my E92 and with the mods i've, i love the looks. Performance-wise bmw hands down and that's why i've it. but when it comes to looks and interior built quality (when compared apples to apples), Audi trumps BMW and i think most can agree with me.

hmmm I honestly wouldn't mind a A4 if i had to pick between that or a 328. I like the new look and always felt that the interior was most luxurious

The new A4 looks cheap in my opinion and, to be honest, the e92 is kind of a girly looking car unless you get it with black sapphire and black grills

A5 in white looks okay, kind of different and the back is really nice.

I like the front end of the A4/A5 but the rear looks like ass.

Last month My friend bought an A4, Its is a turbocharged engine, with five valves per cylinder. It absolutely needs PREMIUM gas because of the high effective cylinder pressures associated with the turbo.
