They aspire to own a M, or what they think is an M, at least that's the optimist / positive way of looking at it. vs. just saying they are trying the trick the world and/or posers...

the "m" is for money...

meaning -> that's how you feel when purchasing a high-priced badge off eBay and place it on previously relevant cars.

why try and convince a community of individuals (some of which know the exterior of a BMW more intimately than their wives) your car is something other than the model you purchased?

Be a man, grab some fishing wire, de-badge that shit, and appreciate you own a BMW.

In other news, just bought a ferrari f430....replaced the 30 with 58

I can't see the picture clearly. The guy put a X5M badge on his X3? That doesn't even make sense

There is a new Hyundai elantra in my area that I see and from time to time and the guy has Mercedes emblems on the hood and trunk with dark tint it is hilarious. I would love to catch him at a light so I can ask him about his 1 of a kind MB.

Makes you wonder how many used "M" vehicles have been sold to oblivious customers thinking they have the real thing.

That car is so fast you'll freak!

Anyone get it? Anyone? (Probably need to be an American (or at least living in the US) to get it.)

I know it's fake, ffs. I'm just saying that maybe he was deceived by a dealer or something like that. We all know BMW hails M Sport as some sort of amazing invention.

Here is the reality of putting these badges on your BMW:

1) Those who don't know what an ///M badge means, don't give a crap
2) Those who know what an ///M badge means, know you're not driving one.

Result: You're not fooling anyone but yourself.
