What happend to E90Fleet?

I remember when e90post was new and he came on board shortly thereafter. He knew many many details and was able to answer all of the questions I sent to him via pm. His knowledge of details such as manufacturers of specific parts was uncanny.

Someone needs to go through the list of members and run stats on who is still around. I have fond memories of laughing my ass off reading posts by JamieA, StewtheBassman, and a few others. That crew and the super-helpful types like E90Fleet, Longtran, Bavarian19, Mapezul & co. are what made this list, IMO.

It happens after a while, sad to say. The board is at its peak during the early years of the production life cycle. People eventually move on, one by one.

Agreed, e90fleet was a BS-free compendium of BMW information and a great asset to this community. We (well most of us who care to acknowledge) all owe him a beer each...

You should add yourself to that list. Your ED story and photos were what finally convinced me to get off my ass and go for it. Reading about you and your son traveling together like that really brought home that you don't have to be uber-rich or uber-pretentious to enjoy a trip like that. It's just about taking sharing your love of cars with someone you love and taking time out of life to enjoy the ride.

Th thing about E90Fleet was that he never seemed to get in any kind of argument, and he never had anything bad or aggressive to say about anyone. He saved BMW a ton of $ by providing accurate advice. A lot of cars got fixed by owners instead of a warranty claim.

So did BMW pay to keep him quiet? No way, he was one of their best ever non-employees.
