Reed, you shouldn't have cropped the nose/mouth of the horse, plus I feel like the bottom half of the horse's face isn't in focus? Did she move?

damnit, I just realized I have a dust spot in my photo.

My first thought was, "A girl and her horse". With that in mind, I'd like the horse's left eye in focus, at least and I'd crop out that background to the outside of the horse. Still, the girl looks great.

Chewy, there's a really crappy foreground, particularly on the left side.

The sky is great and the building is great and the mast in front is..."interesting." Maybe a vertical format with emphasis on the main, multi-story part of the building/mast/sky.

how so? just take the crop up from the bottom left and get rid of more of the horses right ear to get rid of background? or would i be better off putting a mask over the background and just dulling it out so it isn't noticable?

I need to learn how to mask things, i have no experience at that at all..

well, I can't grow grass there easily for you. But, perhaps I could've cropped it differently. Thanks.
