For me it was BASIC on a Tandy 16k Color Computer II and the first program was a "Choose your own adventure"; 2nd was a Black Jack program. Who knew I'd make a living and eventually start my own business writing software...

It's PG13. Now a days you cant do R movies with a such a huge brand like this otherwise you'll miss out on the youngins who really want to see it but parents are still a bit hesitant. Doing that would target a specific market and miss out on $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Personally, they need to focus on the dark side more and introduce a strong female antagonist and push the limits of a PG13 rating. |

I know someone in the twin cities who paid $50 to watch Episodes 1-7 at a theater all day. I love SW but man, that's a tall order for all in one day.

You all already know I am a "Movie Fanatic/Guru". BUT... This my friends, is more than a movie... It is a Phenomena! I saw the first Star Wars at Manns Chinese Theater in Hollywood as a kid! That was when I was 7 years old! I still remember standing in line, the crowds, the anticipation, the magic!
Here is a great breakdown of the chronology of the Star Wars Universe/Timeline: http://overmental.com/content/star-w...ew-canon-21112 I also watch the CLONE WARS cartoon with my sons that is not only entertaining, but fills in gaps and keeps the storyline going of the Star Wars Universe! Disney has already announced a "never-ending expanse" to the Star Wars Franchise which they purchased for nearly $200,000,000,000 back in 2012! @ more films are in the works as well as a 'stand-alone' Star Wars based Theme Park! |

Episodes 8 and 9 to be released only two years apart from each other instead of the usual 3? Nice.

I didn't get advance tickets since it seems weird buying tickets 2 months in advance.
The trailer looks good but after Episodes 1 and 2 (3 was ok), I'm weary. If reviews are good, I'll see it a week or so after it's released. |

I got tickets for the Friday evening, I believe it opens Thursday night. I'm going to take my kids. Hopefully it will be as epic for them as it was for me about 40 years ago.
