430 since 2012. I work there, so we tend to go there before Walmart, Target, etc. Try and shop local whenever possible though.

68 in 2020, zero since Nov 2020 and going forward. Tired of seeing and hearing Amazon this, Amazon that all day everyday. Good riddance just like my Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.

Back to simpler times!

We use Amazon to search for products, and use DuckDuckGo and find elsewhere for same price...kinda like a google we don't use lol

(order some from there, only when can't be found elsewhere...why support monopolies if you don't have to ? )

No I don't want to know the value

Around 2017 the price on .ca became more competitive and sometime even cheaper for item made in the US

Been buying from Amazon since 2002. Wifey, who is a book fiend, has been buying from them since 1995. The number of purchases isn't as eye opening as the amount of stuff I've bought that I never ended up using much. I'm stunned at how many routers and other networking gear I've purchased over the years.

Far too many - that’s what I know (w/o quoting an exact number) - but it’s just so darn easy and quick!

Have to agree, lately I have been finding that you search for items on Amazon to see what options you have then go directly to the store website that is selling on Amazon and get it for the same price. You by pass Amazon on the transaction and store owner make more money. Also Amazon does not always have the best price, I'm doing kitchen remodel and found Lowe's online store has much better price on item and they too offer free delivery.

For many years Amazon prime meant you got free two day deliver, today most items do not come two day and shipping is just included in the price. Amazon got people condition not to look elsewhere so they just been slowly upping the price, if you just hit reorder you better watch the price on the order could be much higher, we buy stuff for our dog and bought the same thing for $16 then one day the item was $35 I also most just hit buy again without looking at the price. So we bought the same thing just a different brand and got the lower price.

Total number of orders since 2010: 529
Total spent: $17,791.24

You can generate a CSV file that shows you every single order and how much you spent:

Go to your "YOUR ACCOUNT" in the dropdown menu on the upper right on the website.
Then "DOWNLOAD ORDER REPORTS"
Then "ORDERS"
Set the date range to as far back as you need to
Click "DOWNLOAD CSV"
Open it in Excel
SUM the "AW" column
Each row is a separate item so the last row number tells you about how many items you purchased including the returns and cancelled orders.

Note: I didn't bother to subtract the cancelled or returned orders, so it's probably a little less than 529.

859 since 2009. But 2009 through 2012 was only 5 orders. So 854 since 2013.

I really like amazon. Yeah, I know they are evil but so's Walmart, Facebook, etc. I started buying Amazon stock back in 2012 when I discovered how darn useful they are. Overall very happy with the stock performance and how all those orders save me from hours in the car stuck in Seattle traffic going from store to store looking for stuff.

We build a cart once a week now and try to get it delivered in as few boxes / deliveries as possible.

We've become comfortable at home.

Honest I love to spend ma and pa when possible, but sometimes I just don't have the patience for bullshit return policies. Having to buy something local, again I fully support, but then having to go to war to return broken items takes all the umpf out of it.

No way this is right...

Maybe, that is an average of $84.65 per order.

Tried 'day delivery'? You choose a day of the week and all your orders are aggregated and delivered on that day each week. Or maybe that's only available in the UK...?

I have not. We do have that option here but it seems like more often than not I'll have 5 or 6 items that I can manually bundle together in the checkout cart to deliver within a day or two via Prime, then one outlier that's not Prime and is going to take a week. Rather than hold it all up I'll arrange 90% of the order to arrive all on the same day and then let that one outlier come whenever it comes.

I just tried an Amazon locker for the first time. It was great. Had some supplements for my dog that were going to deliver while we were out of town for the weekend so I steered them to a locker that's at a store a block up the street from us. Walked up, scanned the barcode on my phone and "pop" the locker opens. Super easy. I dont see myself using that feature a lot while working from home but if/when I ever go back to being in the office full time I'll use to a lot. I used to have all Amazon deliveries sent to my office to avoid having them sit on my front porch while at work. Everyone else did too. It became a significant amount of work for our receptionist to deliver those personal packages around to everyone all day. I'd definitely switch to the locker pick up and just hit it on the way home, when the time comes.
