I didn't think it was that good. With out spoiling it for others it just had to much unrealistic/improbable stuff and got slow. I also thought with that cast it would be awesome-like Narcos in a movie. Wished there were more episodes of that.

Reminded me if a folklore I read as a kid: two brothers planted fruit trees and this giant bird would come and eat it. Each of the brothers would threaten to kill it and the bird said it’ll take each of them to an island where they can get gold. The older brother went and got just enough for him to take care of his family. The younger brother got greedy and carried so much weight that the bird couldn’t carry it and ended up passing out and crashed into the ground. Sounds familiar?

Yes, which was an unfortunate part of the plot because it made the rest of the movie ridiculously predictable.

Watched it this evening. It was ok but not great. It had potential but came up short. As others have stated, it's worth a watch.

this was a good movie like i stated earlier. but seems like some people thought it was smh? seems like people are never satisfied with movies nowadays that don't have the "wow" factor?

A majority of the comments in this thread about this movie are favorable. What more do you want? People criticize movies, it's what they do. Fact is, this movie wasn't anything special. It was a decent watch and several gave it credit for just that.

LOL BirdBox was cool but some scenes were almost laughable like how they drove with the windows covered but used the GPS to get to the Market

I thought the movie was utter crap, but aren't I allowed to have a view that differs from yours? Movies are like music, not everyone has the same tastes.
