I got an invite for this months ago but don’t recall a price … honestly they should produce these as an m only variant and possibly enhance more hp output.
I would be game if it was more accessible but at 50 units they will prob ask for a lot more then I would pay… yet not sure what they are asking… would totally daily this 😂 Last edited by Msparta; 10-10-2024 at 09:13 PM.. |

Translation: "We've got a bunch of 8-series bodies in white sitting around collecting dust, and need a way to recoup the dev cost on that program - let's slap some lipstick on this pig with some new sheet metal and see if we can find some suckers to pony up and help us fix that budget hole!"
Non-snark: it's handsome, but looks oddly dated. |

42? You're being too optimistic. At least 49 and 1 wreck from a C&C.

Wow. I see buttons on the dash while we mere mortal BMW buyers have to navigate deep into a touch screen menu for a basic function!

Since I can’t relate to this I am going back to the G42 forum and reality.

I mean I know it makes sense as an automaker from a logistical and supply chain standpoint, but I can tell it shares parts with a 2 and 3 series. It looks similar to any cabin that bmw has put out in the last 4 years, what’s so special about that?

180-250k I my guess not including markup
Doesn’t matter when they make only few of these. It’s gotta be much more than the XM Edit: I was wildly off in price. Seems like 500k euros per BMWBlog post

I quite like the front end of this car, and I applaud the effort to bring design back toward simply beautiful.
I feel like the hips might be a little bit amorphous and the lack of Hoffmeister kink troubles me a bit, but I can get behind this more than I could say get behind the new, oddly proportioned M2. I know all styling is subjective just sharing my two cents I was not invited to buy one of these |

Unless you been in a situation with a total loss re an accident you best get full coverage just in case… otherwise your entire investment is a loss in the case of an accident where the car is a total loss…

For the 50 chosen ones, it’s not going to be a problem, trust me having money properly invested is a lot better than wasting it on a pathetic insurance policy

Some cars are not photogenic but looks much better in person and I think this is one such car.
This car will be special to look at on the road. I am not a fan of Ferrari exterior designs but I still notice and observe them on the road as they are special. Sticking with ID 7 and a nice embedded instrument cluster with a leather finish plus interiors cues from 8 series is quite nice IMO. But as someone else said, it should have been analog. Probably the cluster from F8x would have been much better. |
