People do dumb shit sometimes....that driver is a dumb ass for racing on a congested city street. Most stop lights have cameras these days, or at least the major intersections. The person that was hit is also a dumb ass, what kind of tard jaywalks into traffic at night, then stops in the middle of the road? ...but as a driver you are always supposed to be aware and the majority of the responsibility is with the driver. He's one lucky SOB if he survived this. |

Yeah I think that's a shoe. They have a tendency to fly off when you're hit by a car even at moderate speeds.
If he survived, that would be a near miracle. Not only did the car impact him at incredible speeds, but he must have hit the ground at a good clip as well.... Impact at those speeds, I'm sure your anus and your esophagus are trying to share real estate inside your body, so he would be incredibly lucky to be alive. He obviously was paralyzed with fear or confusion when he looked up. Shame he didn't figure out that if he split the cars, he may have made it. Can't tell for sure, but it looks like if he just woulda stayed put, it might have missed him. We all do stupid things, and in the video two people doing dumb shit happen to cross each others' paths.... Too bad the guy racing in the BMW was doing mindless shit that could result in what happened in the video. |

Both at fault
Ped jumped back then jumped forward at the last second. Driver was dumb for going that fast on the streets.

Stupid pedestrian and stupid driver for racing through intersections not realizing there are really stupid people in the world that will walk through red lights. I mean if you want to street race do it on some empty road with no intersections or traffic.

you can see the m3 driver swerve to his right a bit (anticipating that the pedestrian would keep walking), but then realizes the pedestrian stopped in the middle, so he swerves the other way to the left to try and go around, but that's when the pedestrian starts running into it... either way, stupid driver, stupid pedestrian, but stupider driver imo.

Probably not the most pleasant evening for the pedestrian, but I'd hate to imagine what it looks like if it was an SUV rather than an M3...
Anyway, is that SG or SSII? |

wow, thats shitty.. i hope he pulled through.. but at that speed, hard to say.. he shouldnt have been racing through a populated street, no matter what time of day it is, and he shouldnt have jaywalked.. thats just my stand point...
