What's your set up like. I used to walk in dick around get set up and lift and found if I just March up and yank it off the ground I have more explosive power off bottom and makes my weight go up easier. Don't set feet or grip just walk up and do it. Stops me from thinking I can't also.

Midgets? I'm 5'10 :

Don't worry wede- if we ever have the pleasure of working out in the same gym/ I'm not an inconsiderate meat head.

I use two yoga matts to absorb most of the drop. But never slam the weights. Even if they're bumper plates

Hahahaahaha I definitely dick around.

Water swig, look around at the tight lady butts in yoga pants, look down. Deep breath, exhale, deep breath, exhale- grip/ LIFT.

Thursday, I'm going to try the 1 more mod approach.

Start lighter have to get hands and feet close to correct position or may get injured. Helps if someone hits you across the face with a weight belt also before.

That was for 1MOREMOD and the guy I was talking about didn't cross 4 feet, probably. I'm guessing he was doing 315 so I guess I should just shut up.

5' 9 3/4" personally. . .

What kind of changes ? Anyone dropping machines and just using free-weights and racks and pull-up bars?

I'm thinking about forgoing benching for dips, and focusing on running but still 3 days a week of resistance.
Curious what others are planning, and if anyone is dropping squats and deadlifts what will you replace them with ?
I started "Body Beast" 4 weeks ago.... It's all free weights. I got tired of plyometrics and full body cardio workouts (Gilean Michaels).
So far so good- I have discovered new muscles I didn't think I had

Never posted in this forum, so...Hi...

Lots of interesting input in here.

I'm in the process of getting two surgeries done, so I'm out for a bit. Looking at getting into Freeletics or fullbody type workouts when I heal up. Not much into weights, never have been. Working out has always been more of a chore to me than a hobby. Trying to get out of that mindset but eeehhh
