All games, including those in L.A. over the weekend, are scheduled to start around 8pm ET. That's a lot better than regular season games on the west coast.

For LA to have been close, after playing defense at a sub-par level, I'm still comfortable with my prediction of Boston in six.

Kershaw wasn't great, but Sale wasn't either. The L.A. bullpen wasn't effective - they gave up 3 runs and allowed 2 runners inherited from Kershaw to score. Less than stellar defense at first base and LF didn't help them either. Sometimes the other team just has a better night.

Kershaw wasn't dominant, but the cast of characters behind him wasn't stellar by any stretch.

Friese missed that foul so bad it was almost fair, combined with Barnes not able to throw to second base - 1 run

Then Barnes again can't throw to second, leading to another run.

Cold outfielders couldn't make it to the ball, on more than one occassion leading to base hits/RBIs

It should be nearly 80 back in LA. . .

Um, JT is awesome and he's from Boston. Neil Diamond sucks, and I think Aerosmith is dead.

Good game as expected. I'm guessing they all will be. Wish Machado would choke on his own vomit, but other than that, Dodgers seem like a decent team that will definitely challenge the Sox. Sox in Six.

I miss old school baseball this strike out or homerun mentality is stupid. Hit for average, move guys over, bunt, steal. No one plays small ball. Their will be a resurgence and more ability to do so will make Boston winners here.

I kept seeing my son's Little League Dodgers out there on defense. You are freaking professionals (supposedly) Why are three of you converging on a ball that is CLEARLY the center fielder's, and then 2 of you end up on the ground as he has to jump over your flailing bodies

Not sure Dodgers will make it to game 6

In my opinion having played a bit of baseball, the old "choke up" with two on ya is no longer in vogue but its the free swinging that is killing the Dodgers. They load the bases and are lucky to get one when the bases loaded and no outs used to be a death sentence for the other team. Just sayin' either the adrenaline is too much or it is a lack of discipline.

Gotta cut down on the free swinging.
