MAX's long runs look even better than last week in Bahrain.

Just like last week his softs will last forever in the race .
Without incidents , I don't see who can beat MAX .
The only thing that I fear for the 'all the drivers is the dangerous Jeddah track...
It's madness !

Nope not RBR but Merc and LEW. Merc got a fine and LEW a warning after Sergeant narrowly avoided a collision with the Merc.

I'm worried too if someone loses the car at those speeds on some of those turns, some of them have been reworked so that the next turn can be seen sooner but still high risk as should someone hit a wall hard there's not a lot of braking distance for the ones behind.

News in is that Carlos was very sick with 'stomach bug' and it was hit or miss if he would even take part in FP at all but was just passed and is expected to be in FP3 in just over two hours time though still far from well. Those guys ought to be careful with what they eat when travelling worldwide.

Bearman had clocked pole position in F2 with 1:42.217.

In F1, top times are around 1:28 - a different universe.

Hopefully he does well on this very dangerous circuit. Wishing him godspeed.

Bearman is familiar with the Jeddah circuit (pole position in F2), he's one of the real contenders to win the F2 championship this season and he has already tested F1 cars (track and simulator). But it's gonna be a steep learning curve for him this race weekend.

It will be an achievement if he manages to meet the 107% rule during Q1. If he does (or if stewards allow him anyway), the race this Saturday will be a grueling 90 minutes rollercoaster for him: faster car (one of the best), faster acceleration and deceleration, higher G-force, more stress to be processed by neck muscles, more sophisticated steering wheel tech, no tailor-made seat, longer race, worldwide media attention. If he even manages to finish the race, he will be physically and mentally knackered afterwards.

But on the other hand, it must be a dream come true - what an opportunity: driving a state-of-the-art Ferrari in real F1 qualies and, if he meets the 107% rule, participate in a real F1 race.

FP3 Red flagged after a shunt by Zhou. Also Sergeant clipped a wall. Verstappen "hit something in Turn 10". Welcome to the Jeddah circuit...

As you say the F1 car is a different kettle of fish for the youngster, it would be nice if he qualifies for the race and if he does stay out of trouble to finish the race even if he's last.
That's a heavy crash for Guanyu hopefully his team can rebuild the car for quali, will be quite a feat if they do.
Just seen MAX goes top in FP3 with charlie 2 tenths behind, roll on the quali

I was talking about strange food in different countries before, though it could be airport food that got him rather than at the Ferrari mobile canteen.

P10 for Bearman during FP3. At a whisper (0.038s) of Hamilton (P9). Well done for a rookie.
