Apparently, Tua was ready to hang up his spikes after his multiple concussions in 2022 per the TV commentators.....

I read some details today about the guaranteed money in Tua's contract. I believe if he is forced to medically retire then he gets the remainder of the money guaranteed to him which is about 120 million. If he chooses to retire (assuming this means he is medically allowed to play) that he would only get a small portion of that money unless the Dolphins decided to negotiate a settlement and provide more. Can't remember the source but either way hopefully he makes the right call for his health and quality of life.

How do others feel about how the Bears are using Caleb Williams? He does not look ready at all. I think the Bears should have him sit and learn more about playing at the NFL level. He does look like he could be really good and if a couple of those crazy throws were catches I might not be as skeptical. The facial expressions from DJ Moore last night said it all in my opinion.

The way Fields has improved in Pitt makes me wonder if the Bears aren't going to ruin the development of Williams as well. Williams is supposed to be the most talented QB to come out of college in forever and has a lot of WR talent. Bears O line is a problem but the coaching could be too. Or maybe its just too soon to tell.

I was listening to some sports radio a few minutes ago and they were going over some stats from last night's game. Williams was pressured on 36 of 37 drop backs so yes you are right about the O line. I don't like the Bears so not wanting them to succeed but I am rooting for Williams and want him to be a good NFL QB.

He doesn't seem like a bad guy or anything, just a shame the media has anointed him as one of the GREATS before he ever played a down. And of course don't want the Bears to be successful.

Agreed on Williams! I think he came to the NFL thinking he already has it figured out and is experiencing a reality check.

Typical NFL craziness so far but gotta give Minnesota all the credit. To shut down Texans like that? Very impressive. I thought they were better than forecast at the beginning of the year, but they might be best team in the division right now.

Well MY giants are not exactly lighting it up. Gave DJ 40 mil per when no one else would have given him 25 and then they quibble w Saquan over a million. Evan Neal looks like a bust and Burns off to a slow start. I hope Schoen gets better and quick or it’s time to start over again

I did not see that coming from Minnesota but glad the defense proved some haters wrong. Lots of the experts thought Stroud could cook our defense. But honestly, the Texans hadn't really lit up any teams yet this year (Colts and Bears and they didn't win by much) so maybe they were a bit overrated?

Looking forward to the Vikes Packers game on Sunday! Should be a close game.

Yeah, if Love is back next Sunday should be an interesting game. I still think the Packers will get better as the year progresses, this new defense is not ready yet. But then Vikes play Detroit the week after....we should all learn a few things in the next couple weeks.
