Yes, but grammar isn't one of them.
Why didn't you say, "You guy's have issue's"? At least you'd be consistent.

I live in and grew up in TN. I feel accomplished just to be able to complete a sentence and for someone to understand what was inferred. Regardless, even if a person draws a picture, some still don't understand.
Also, I'd suggest you avoid the show Letterkenny at all costs. I'm at work, so I'm unable to listen to the dialogue at an appropriate volume; but Squirrely Dan in is in the bit, so I imagine that there is an "'s" at the end of pretty much everything he says. "'S" is no problem, but that damn comma.....

I don't see what the problem is? I'm a seafood lover and I eat fishes, shrimps and calamaris all the time!
It's so sad that only calamaris comes up on spell check as misspelled...... I passed a farm the other day and saw a flock of sheeps. I cringe when I hear the s added to a word that is already plural... |

Words are used to communicate - did you understand what they meant? Good enough for me then. IDGAFF
Now if it is a proper business letter or company advertisement or whatever - that is different. I've never had someone's grammar or spelling irritate me more than 2 grammar nazi duking it out over the proper usage of "Dog Turd". Especially when on the internet for fun - on a car site where 1/2 of us used to eat paste in school............

Too many people try to pass it off as a joke but the joke is there are a large number of people that don't have a clue about when and when not to use an apostrophe and whether it's to show singular possession or the plural form of a noun.
These people know who they are too (or not) and post stupid shit that provides insight to their lack of education or even common sense. |

First of all it's "What's the correct way??"
I would write "lots of M3s", not M3's. The M3 is not possessing anything. You're simply wanting to express the plural form of the M3. No apostrophe is used in that case. |

I think the reason this happens is just general nomenclature of some items-
M3's ok not right but what if you say- M3s... some may think this is a different version of an m3 M3Cs... is that plural or singular lol? M2Cs... is this referring to plural M2C or a singular M2Cs lmao?

Apostrophes are allowed by most style manuals when it makes plurals clearer, even when not indicating possession. Apostrophes indicate possession most of the time, but not all of the time. See the confusing alphanumeric example above.

Yeah but you also have to take into account the context in which the word is being used in a sentence. Most of the time it's clear that the person's intent is to show the plural form of something. That would apply to the comment above regarding the different model vehicles.

It is humorous, and ironic I suppose, when people decide to give other people a grammar, punctuation, or spelling lesson and make errors of their own during their teachable moment. I know I make mistakes when I post. I probably have a misteak right here in this post. So, I'd be the last guy to call out another poster on such matters.
