Thanks for posting, I loved the movie, I consider it a "sleeper"; as, while it was good, it never appeared to gain traction despite the great story, excellent actors, and now, the great watches. I will need to watch it again , so that I can spot the watches!

So two more.......

Breitling definitely not one of my favorite watches, but I'll take the IWC any day, especially the Top Gun version shown here.

Quite the show - "Billions", great cast with lots of tension in the right places, Maggie Siff (Sons of Anarchy) is very easy on the eyes. She wears a $220 Barbour in the show.

Bond has a deal with Omega. They name drop explicitly in the movies at times, and each movie Omega creates a limited edition timepiece.

In the past, they have been designed after the movie has shown and usually have '007' plastered all over them.

This changed with Spectre - Craig actually wore one of the 7,007 examples of the timepiece in the movie - the exact timepiece being sold (minus the explosives of course). The watch has some etchings on the case in the back, but other than that, unless you looked closely at the clasp (where '007' is etched), or looked at the casing, many would have no idea it's a Bond piece.

(I personally even switched up the band on mine, so 007 isn't even on the watch, minus the 'Spectre' on the casing.)

I purchased my Hamilton after seeing it in Interstellar. My Breitling, while I am sure is in many movies, I just love the look of it and got it.

New show titled "Animal Kingdom" with Ellen Barkin in the lead role - fairly good show, I would recommend. In the show she supervises heists of jewelry stores and steals high end watches, but in the show she wears a Michael Kors
Women's Darci Gold-Tone Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch $250.00.

Saw the new Jason Bourne movie yesterday, he wears a Tag Heuer
'Formula 1' Black Dial Chronograph Watch $1349.10. For the money, it's a nice looking watch.

Love this one. Thanks for sharing. They have always been great. It is interesting how design cues for "dive watches" have changed over the years.

If you re-watch Ocean's 13 it's a Rolex-fest with gratuitous close-ups from time to time.

I feel in love with that watch also because of the McQueen connection and purchased it during a trip in Paris over 20 years ago. I always get compliments when I wear it.

fun (old) thread.

timex ironman dual tech features prominently in an underrated will ferrell movie "stranger than fiction". i actually bought one after i saw the movie. only wish that i could change the strap.

and a really great blog post from some watch nerd who also loved the move so much he went out and bought the watch.
