Boo for Fox. I can't wait till they go back to Speed for the rest of the season.
And I'm sure we'll also hear "those aerodynamics create so much downforce, if it were in a tunnel, it could drive on the ceiling."

Oh, and Chandhok is so strange (the pics of him driving the bus on the first page).

Great pictures!

Well, I think E90SLAM and I will agree this time in saying that Silverstone usually delivers an exciting race . Fingers crossed that the new section delivers to the spectacle. However, odds are that it will be a red bull dominated weekend, given the high downforce characteristic of the track.

Did anyone else watch FP? I watched a few minutes of the speed coverage, the new section is fun but looks awfully bumpy. Hopefully cars will be able to follow one another closely and try to get a slingshot past going under the bridge, providing a new overtake point.

Seems like silverstone is a great track for Adrian Newey!! but the new section might mix up the game a bit....depends on who can cope with the bump at Abbey.....we saw many driver caught off guard and went wide and out to the run-off area....now silverstone becomes a new learning curve for the teams....even red bull might have an advantage on Sector 1....and some in Sector 2....

what's happening with McLaren... Button out in Q2 and Hamilton far off the pace as well. Let's see what Q3 brings. Red Bull seems to be on top of their game again. Hopefully Vettel gets the pole.

RBR just has a far more superior chassis and set up...the upgrades introduced on Friday on the Mclarens aren't working so they had to take them all off....unbalanced car so Button had to take off more front wing causing very low downforce overall....as you can see from the speed trap....second fastest....i bet his apex speed is very awful....

I know I am not a Mclaren fan.... at all. What is interesting though is that Red Bull is so far in front again although the other teams, especially Mclaren was catching up. Happy that Vettel is on pole. My money is on him for the Championship!

Hmmm.....team orders at RBR? Seems like they kinda screwed up Mark's timing so that he only got one hot lap towards the end of Q3. He was visibly pissed.

Regardless, glad to see a RBR 1-2 again with hopes that SV will put another win towards his championship.

Where are all the LH pillow biters??? Surprised there are no excuses flying around for him considering how dominate he looks.

Agreed. Faux Sports sux royally. If there is a more pathetic sports network out there, I haven't seen it. One more Faux Sports hosted race to suffer through, then back to Speed.

I think the stewards screwed up again as well. No race related reason for Alonso's drive thru. They should have made him cede the spot within a lap of the incident, but once Kubica dropped out, it was a moot point. That penalty was purely political.

Agree on both points here.

Pretty good race at the end though.

Amazing drive from LH and JB considering how crappy their cars were on Sat. Didn't expect to see LH on the podium at all. Once again I eat my words about his qualifying efforts

SV showed his immaturity and tried to win the race on the first corner IMO. Did an amazing job coming back at the end to get some good points. But I feel if he had just conceded to MW in turn one after his initial attempt to take the fight to Mark, he would have had the chance to win on outright overtaking later or pit strategy.

Great drive from MW..its a shame about all the politics in RBR.

Favorite quote:
RBR: "Well, Mark you drove very well today. Great job. You won the the British Grand Prix. Well done."
MW: "Fantastic guys...not bad for a #2 driver. Cheers."
RBR: "You think you'll manage a smile now?"
