Sounds like you were getting dropoff, could be a number of different reasons for this i.e. dwell too low, damaged/missing/missaligned orings in either the bolt or regulator, low batt, etc. Could also be caused by whatever air system you ran since that might not have been keeping up either.

Read the manual, see how everything inside the guns works. If you don't clean it after every few times you use it (I always did it every time)....you'll regret it. |

Dont do it!! Lol, let me tell you from personal experience that paintball is a very addictive and very expensive sport. I started off with a cheap gun and ended up
Spending over 2k on the sport!! Now i think of all the mods I couldof gotten for my car instead |

I've been using a SmartParts Ion for about a year now and have had absolutely no problems with it. It works perfectly fine. I think the problem was with your hopper and not the gun itself. I think an Ion is the best entry level gun out there especially since you can find them cheap almost anywhere for $100 used. |

I cant remember what hopper i had but it would feed balls at least as fast as 30/sec.
It had a laser eye and never broke a ball. I think it was Dye or something. My gun might have just been a dud i dont know, i took it apart many times to figure it out and eventually just sold it for next to nothing.

Gosh I miss paintball. I have not played in forever. I played in the World Cup of paintball in 2003. I have not played since prob 2004 though. So much fun! Back in the day I had a 2002 Dark Angel LCD, that gun was schweet.
Is paintball as big as it used to be? |

I haven't played in so long and I def miss it I had a matte black Angel One. The thing was soooo sexy and it lit people up too with stupid accuracy. A bit of a bitch to maintain, though.

Just played a few weekends ago. Love my tippman A5. I bought it used, had it for 3 years. Play like only 3 times a year and it always works awesome. Have a WASP board trigger; thing has to shoot at least 25bps with good paint. Paid $250 for it.
Hard to beat that in my opinion. Parts are cheap and readily available should it break down. http://cgi.ebay.com/Tippmann-A5-Gun-...2#ht_598wt_907

My own custom built E2 Autococker form about 20 years ago
I just sent her off for a full rebuild and upgrades after it developed a small leak from the lpr. (cost more then getting some of the newer markers today) Her is the results. You old timer should like it! https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Eg1Ti8_JvFQ She will mostly be just hung up on the wall, but will rip anytime i want her to. |
