I drink Coke Zero in moderation (buy two liters and drink 6-10 oz per day) and am not worried at all.

Have had DC sometimes and as a mixer for Bacardi white rum but will probably get red can coca cola or pepsi zero from now for that, not an Extra gum chewer as it takes your tooth enamel off.

I always knew aspartame was bad but then again I don't use any 'fake' sugar/diet stuff. There's a whole conspiracy thing w the powers that be pushing this thing onto the world but meh, one can only do so much, ppl will do whatever they want.

It's got what plants crave!
Always surprised me how normalized soda consumption is. Hell, there are people at my work that consume a 7-11 big gulp per day! Crazy to me. |

I enjoy a Diet Coke, maybe 2-4 a week. If that kills me amongst the other toxins I put in my body on a weekly basis I’d be shocked. Hoping it sparks my resting HR of 42bpm to a normal level so I rest early lol. Half the time health publishings is like throwing a dart, might get a few but you missed most

for 30+ yrs it seems this kind of report comes out every 6-7yrs, news cycles right now ... Russia Russia Russia is invading itself, wait, now it's not and brain melting soda seems like much ado about nothing.

You are all good with your diet stuff, not to worry unless you are like me, that likes the smell (and sound) of two strokes in the morning.... I don't need to ask the WHO, as I am certain that's not healthy

I think the connection between aspartame and cancers was made ages ago... not entirely sure of the full connection... but ALL that aside, diet coke tastes like straight ass lol. I'll take the slight sugar penalty for regular coke.

That's not how it works, at least not for me and many people I know. I prefer the taste of diet coke. Regular coke is like having dessert. It's way to heavy and filling to drink with a meal. I like coke zero also and it's probably closer to regular coke, but still heavier feeling than diet coke. I'll have a regular coke rarely, typically if I'm JUST drinking it and not eating. Interestingly it's hard to find coke here in NC (at least this area). Everything is pepsi and diet pepsi. Never seen the pepsi equivalent of coke zero either, at least not at restaurants. My gf said it might be because pepsi was invented in NC. |

These days I have a Coke Zero Vanilla Soda every once in a while. Agree with the people who say I would have to drink gallons of it every day before it would have any carcinogenic effect on me. Besides, I think the gum I chew daily has aspartame in it so if I'm going to die it will probably be from my gum. ☠️

FWIW, Cheerwine was also invented in NC, and is a regional thing in the Carolinas if you really want to make your teeth hurt.....

if you look at the WHO carcinogen chart - the only thing that isn't a carcinogen is nylon.
Coffee is also carcinogenic (coz it's roasted charred black) I don't know what Nylon tastes like so i can't comment if it's any good to go with the steak. |
