I'd rather flush some hot wheels down the toilet.

I thought it sucked until I went to Bristol, then I KNEW it SUCKED! Not a fan at all. Unless there are a lot of twistys (GT - F1), or jumps (Moto-X), I would rather listen to my wife ream me out for something while I relace my sneakers in a closet somewhere in the middle of a desert without anything to drink, than watch it! JMHO!

I don't understand the appeal of racing on ovals in any kind of car.

I tried to watch one of this years road course races, but after the first couple of minutes I decided to put hot needles in my eyes instead. What is it they say about monkeys and footballs?

All kidding aside, I just don't get Nascar, it seems to have such a counter culture relative to other forms of racing, and either you get it or you don't. Ricky Bobby gets it.

watching NASCAR is not very exciting simply because the cars are ugly, lol. But people who are in the cars are really having some fun.

in most other racing events, whenever you want to overtake you can just take the inner lane and outbrake your opponents in any 2nd gear corners. But in NASCAR all the things are happening so fast. and that is the real exciting part!

Besides the start and entering and leaving the pit lane, do drivers even shift during the race?

Nope - not a fan. I used to watch when there was a real difference between the different makes. Now all you have to do is change the decals on the car to make a Ford a Chevy etc. The engine is the main difference now and they are regulated pretty heavily. I just wish there was more freedom in the rules.

I drove an Indycar at LVMS and pulled about 4-1/2 g's in the corners. Racing in a circle may be boring, but it's not that easy. I do prefer cars that turn right as well.

I love the fact that a slightly modded M5 can prob. beat a nascar in a race, w/ the ac on.

WHAT?! Whatever you're smoking....pass it. You've had enough. An M5 isn't going to be anything more than a rolling chicane for a Cup car.

I really donīt like NASCAR at all, Iīve tried watching a couple of times and it bores the hell out of me. Cars are ugly as hell and no fun technology or tracks.
