Last generation I liked right out the gate. This one I’m sure I’ll come around, but it looks a bit bloated and a lot Camaro.

Yes, I'm not liking that this seems to look a lot like my car. I don't hate the current Mustang styling and I like that it's different.

Having owned both a mustang and camaro it doesn't look anymore like a camaro than the previous gen did. That being said I'm meh on the exterior. I don't hate it, don't love it, will probably grow on me. While I'm glad they have completely redone the interior and that's been a long time coming... I dunno if it fits a mustang. It's nice, but maybe on a cadillac or something. However I'll take it over leaving the same interior which for me was the biggest negative of the previous gen.

I love the rear end (comically, I also love the rear end of the G8x. Consider me an ass man).
The wheels look straight off a BMW. The front looks just like a Camaro. Not my cup of tea. Interior is bleh... The side profile? The 8'er copied the old mustang, this copied the new 4'er Performance wise, should be fantastic Disappointed if it went up in weight again |

It def looks more camaro than the current/last gen. Immediately when the pic loaded, ... "camaro" was all I could think.
Reading the posts after that confirmed that it's not just me. woah... not sure how Ford let that one out. haha... the softer lines on the mustang were the delineating factor... so making the lines more angular on the mustang was always going to do one thing... make it scream "I'm a camaro,... but I'm not. |

BMW can learn from the new Mustang's configurable digital dashboard. Ford included an ability to select a look of conventional round gauges; or a modern look.

Like it except for the Ipad x2 interior.

Hopefully it's coming to UK with that last car hating PM gone.
Got to say I like this design with the driver involved interior and the aircraft style dash. |

I think the exterior looks great. Sure there are some Camaro cues but this looks better than any Camaro IMO. The interior looks like a bit of mishmash as the two LCD screens look like they came from a Golf R/GTI and the rest of the dash looks Camaroish. I don't understand having physical buttons under the vents and not a single one controlling HVAC.

I am a fan of the stang, great bang for buck and styling wise has had it all over Chevy for years. M3/4's are basically muscle cars since the F80 and the stang swaps out what, $20K for a low brow interior and you get a 5 litre V8 instead of a soulless turbo 6.
I also cross shopped running both a DD and a 997 vs compromising with a stang to do double duty, in the end I scratched the 997 itch but I can see the day where I get tired of three cars and want a compromise. This brings me to this revision, TBH I am torn. There are some elements I like but that pinched rear end is bleh and the front end is a bit camaro........ i dunno. Interior loooks a step up but I absolutely loathe tacked on screens that are not properly integrated into the dash. This may all be good news for me, maybe in 5 years I sell the Saab, sell the 997 and get myself a now "out of date" 2018-22 stang for not a lot of coin and not be pining for the new one. |

I see the new Z in the front end too.
I think the pre-facelift S550 is still the best looking modern Mustang, but as long as they don't screw up the driving dynamics, the S650 will likely be my next car. |

One good thing about the instrument cluster panel is that if there's a problem it can be removed easily for repair instead of taking apart the whole dash like in other cars.
