I love it and am glad to see its return. Too bad about the V6. Ford is driving me nuts with this 6 cyl BS. I prefer big SUVs like this and the Escalade to the small, feminine SUV/SAV you see from the Germans and such.

Just visited their website where they have some pics in different colors and more traditional wheel choices. Still looks unconventional but much better that the press pics.

yeah a nice saddle or cognac would surely exude more of the luxury feel they're going for.

I like the blue. I miss the days of colorful interiors. Nowadays every car seems to have these drab black or gray interiors, maybe beige. To me the interior seemed like a retro throwback.

That's 'murica on wheels. Not my stuff, and I dont' find it particularly original or pretty. Looks like a suburban with a different grill.

What are the handles on the A pillar for? I'd guess for offroad, but the chances of seeing this whale offroad is absolutely zero, sooo?

You can use those handles to help you get in if you have issues.

This is not a good argument when you look at our BMW and how fast they drop in value.

Agreed. Has a retro feel to it for sure. Especially the seat design and color.

Same can be said for almost any Mercedes, BMW, or Audi.

People who buy these types of vehicles have reached a point in their life where resale value isn't a concern to them.

Drives a BMW, preaches about resale value.

M3s don't depreciate as much as your 'regular' BMW.

I guess money doesn't buy taste, If I was at that point in life, I sure as hell wouldn't be buying that POS. Even if I did buy one, I sure as hell wouldn't go parading around on a BMW forum calling it gorgeous. I'd buy it as a throw away appliance that it is...

But hey, it's not my money so buy whatever you like, you don't need my approval.

It looks good, I will give you that.

Selfishly though, living in the Dallas suburbs, I'm sure I will encounter many of these massive land yachts on my commute and the last thing we need is more of these massive f**kers on the road. 9/10 of the people that drive these types of boats lack situation awareness, are preoccupied with putting makeup on or texting in the car, and have no idea where they are going. The uneducated, hourly wal-mart employee driving a 15 year old honda civic has more driving skill than most land yacht drivers.

You're right, M3s depreciate more than regular 3 series if you look at actual dollar depreciation.

Interesting... Living in Plano which per capita has the nicest cars/trucks in TX and considered a suburb of Dallas I suppose... Whenever I see a car wreck, it is never a "big SUV" or nice car in general.

East Plano or West? I'm in Frisco which is a soccer mom haven. Where do you get you per capita statistic?

Most of those car wrecks you see are caused by oblivious land yachts which don't know they've just caused a wreck LOL. It's the little guys that get stuffed

E9x M3s were often worth more than their residual at the end of their lease, but I guess you'd have to own one or know a thing or two, but hey I'm fine if the general public/sheep think that.

Someone woke up on the wrong side this morning.

I've owned an M4 and dealt first hand with massive depreciation.

The reason some Ms don't depreciate much after 3 years is simply because the owners may not drive them as much as a 328 or whatever. Compare a 2015 M3 with 30k miles to a 328i with 30k miles and you will see my point.

Also, you should probably lose that chip on your shoulder, it will help with understanding others
