I respectfully disagree.

I don't think BMW makes a single attractive SUV anymore; they ruined all of them. Benz's other SUVs look great, but this GLE and the GLA look odd (and that GLA concept was so promising). At least there aren't fifty different lines and broken up elements slathered all over it. It looks like a Gundam chicken egg.
I agree. The ML and GL are some of the most elegant and powerful-looking SUVs on the road. Particularly the AMG models (GL63 AMG below)

Always enjoy reading your aesthetic analysis. You've got a knack for evaluating car designs. Ever thought about doing something with that skill?

Wow the GL looks sharp, that exterior color must be Designo?

I'd tend to agree, not sure what they were thinking with those massive tail lights.

Mercedes is on a roll with their designs. While the GLE may not be the most handsome, at least your eyes don't bleed when you look at it.

The thing that really bugged me about BMW's designs was the Kidney grilles meeting the lights. Now, they're on a trend where they're making the headlight housing really big making the car look bug-eyed. I looked through pictures of the 6 series LCI and I thought the headlight housing was going to get smaller!

This me-too car from MB looks horrid. And they have the audacity to actually have the word "Coupe" in it's name. It just doesn't fit in with their design language. The Bimmer looks a lot better.

It is beyond me why anyone would buy either of these over a Porsche that costs slightly more, yet is infinitely better than both. With the Porsche you get better styling, better handling, better quality and a more prestigious badge.

Its just a x6 for the benz loyalists who are slightly confused.Pretty much my take on x6 buyers as well.

Since Mercedes and BMW have decided that body-style classifications are meaningless, my 135i shall now be classified as an SUV for insurance purposes.
