I love Nico and I also feel bad for Charles but look at his throttle mid-corner before he lost the rear and on the right side look at the previous lap. It's not that crazy of a mistake, he just overestimated his rear grip and his tires were shot. He scrubbed some speed in the turn and tried to save as much as he could with his right foot causing the spin. I definitely understand the disappointment/pressure he feels with this mistake at this point of the season but he's no less of a driver because of it. Realistically, this accident may have never happened if he was pit earlier. 2nd is better than DNF.

Sainz Ferrari PU was new in France . That's what we saw .His car was the fastest car of the field .
And next weekend he will be very fast again .

Think Sainz and Charlie are running with the 4th PU . That's why I'm pretty sure with 10 races to go they won't finish this season with the current PU .
This means more Ferrari grid penalties will follow .

MAX is fine with his second HONDA PU .
But I heard RB is planning to replace his PU at Spa-Francorchamps or Zandvoort (not sure yet)

Earlier today I was reading an article about Charlie's situation .
The headline was like : "I'm not ready for it" !

But that's just BS !
It's Ferrari strategy who failed again , they didn't made the call to pit .
And Charlie is Ferrari'd again as usual !
And MAX was OC pushing like a beast behind him , so he had no other choise at that moment to push it really hard as well !
But as we know : His tires were completely overheated and shot .

Charlie didn't wanted to blame Ferrari or BINO 'again .
He got already 2-3 very annoying situations with BINO . That's why there was that fancy Monaco evening dinner .
And that's why I'm saying if Charlie said : "I'm not ready for it" !
That's just talking BS to spare the Ferrari clowns and BINO ...

The more I think of it the more I'm confused from what Chas said and that tyre stop for Sainz but I guess Bino was afraid his tyres would not hold out insisting it was the correct strat. Oh well it was more than the spaghetti bolognese and vino this time, all they can do is take it on the chin, have a laugh about it and soldier on keeping in mind Merc are creeping up.

This is the first track since Monaco I think Ferrari has the clear advantage but my confidence isn't high, they badly need a 1-2 here for the sake of the entire team's psyche.

But I really don't like this track, back to back super boring tracks followed by a long break...rough month and a half.

Interesting what Wolff has said according to journos that his team will work over the summer break on their car to make it quicker. This would be illegal as Horner has said or do Merc see themselves in an elite class that normal rules don't apply to them.

Ferrari have a veto to overturn a ruling if it is unjustified and they can do this in the form of a protest which they are considering against Fia for the proposed floor measuring at Spa.
Fia says its for safety reasons though more than half the teams disagree as the so called 'porpoising' has been eliminated with information released by Fia secretly before its time and it appears that struggling Merc have driven this with some under table dealing only for the sole intention of making their car more competitive.

With the H'ring coming up fast the question journos are asking is if Chas can get it together at the windy track where overtaking is difficult. With the Max factor in his mirrors, should he get pole the answer will be of how many water torture drips can Chas take.
