Venison is delicious, getting some burger meat and chop steak made up, not a lot of tenderloin for jerky so going to wait on hopefully something bigger before I make a batch of jerky.

Was using a Ruger 30-06 with Hornady whitetail rounds. There's two members I'm going to ship out to, if you really want some let me know and I might be able to spare a bit.

Depending on what it is, will either be a spine/neck shot or a head shot. People talk shit about it, but I don't want any animal to suffer, so I like it to be clean and quick.

I definitely agree with you on that. Like I said, I used to hunt a lot. But I never ate any of the game. I would typically just give it away. I realized many people get their next meal that way or they really enjoy it. Hunting just to hunt isn't cool so I stopped.
