The founding fathers felt, somewhat rightfully I think, that democracy is not always the best idea. People are easily manipulated and oftentimes ignorant. I would say it's more rare for someone to do objective research and inform themselves - most people just go "oh, well I heard this..." and vote based on that. It's the same reason I feel that the "it doesn't matter who you vote for, just vote!!!!!!!!!" campaigns are stupid. Is it really better to go out there and vote just because Jessica Alba and Ariana Grande made a tv commercial telling you who they support, and you think that sounds good?

In any case, the intention of the electoral college was that we would elect (I think) people that we felt were truly knowledgeable and educated about the nation's affairs. This way, in the case that all of Florida decides to vote for Harambe, the electoral college is able to make a more appropriate choice. I think it's a bit more complicated than that, and in practice they do choose according to the popular vote. However, that was the general basis for it. That, and so you can't just find a few states with a large population and convince them all to vote your way and win, even if the rest of the country disagrees.

Depending on which generation, it would fall under the VR6. The newer ones use a TFSI VWs turbocharged 4 cylinder.

Drove in summer with my ///M through the Belgian Ardennes , love to do it because there are almost no fucking speedcams..
It's about that my ///M and I love to drive at high speed through the forests ,8K rpm's , countless turns , uphill...dowhill in a beautiful scenery..
In the evening I pull over on a nice restaurant before returning home in Spa-Francorchamps ,chicks love it as well , but when I drive fast they usually scream in the car

Pic was taken in front of the dam from La Gileppe ( Barrage de la Gileppe )
I was on the dam and in the tower and thought ...Damn I want a pic in front of the giant lion ASAP , but didn't found the road through the forest to the other side of the lion ...and the water was everywhere..
So I drove about 30-40 min. around the thing and finally I found the little road with a stop sign with no acces for cars...
But thought I don't give a shit and drove with my car as far as possible to get the lion in my picture ...

VR6 has a cool sound because it's unique. Pretty fun for a DD.
RB26 - short stroke, high revving I6, ITBs... you'll need a cold shower.
