I am too lazy to look it up but my guess is there has been more than 5 repeats but there were only 5 organizations that were able to do it.

Lebron should also cut Allen a check. Because he stopped the media from ripping Lebron a new one with that 3. Lebron with Two, three turnovers with 1 minute left in the game, and Spurs leading by 5. Lebron should get down on his knees, and praise Allen.

Found this on ESPN

I'm sure he was caught up in the moment...

That said, I do believe LBJ can become the GOAT, but he's not close (albeit closer) to it right now.

But Magic does have a point. I never heard him ever say that about Kobe.

IMO, If Lebron continue to excel every year he MAY be the GOAT, 5 to 10 years from now. Lebron really needs to work on his jump shot. He bricked so many jump shot in the finals. Until he can master jump shooting (shooting while being contested) and posting up, he will be the GOAT.

Knew heat would win it.

That should put an end to the lebron>kobe debate.

Man, I truly felt sad after Duncan missed that mini hook to tie it...and then even sadder when it all fell apart in the end.

Hope Timmy and company doesn't retire, NBA won't be the same without them.

I can see him becoming the GOAT if he want's it bad enough, its all up to him, he definitely has the skill set. If he can master a jump shot with "D" on him unstoppable he would be.

After Lebron's turnover at the end of game 6 where he just threw the ball away (lob to bosh or missed shot). Magic Johnson told Michael Wilbon that was the worst play he's ever seen (given the situation).

Now that's something he won't say on air.

the heat are the champs and lebron's the nba's best today. but he is no michael jordan.

nobody took jordan to 7 games in a finals (pretty sure nobody took jordan to 7 games in any of their championship runs). and then the 6 rings/mvps, a 70+ win season, the defense, scoring 50+ with the flu... and of course the style. and he won in college too. i can only imagine what more jordan would have accomplished if he skipped college and didn't retire early twice.

Your right LBJ is NO MJ, infact Nobody will be "Michael Jordan", nobody will be "Larry Bird", Nobody will be "Magic", Nobody will be"Lebron James, trying to compare players is lame, different players, different erras, different goals, different personalities, but one thing I know for sure LBJ has the skill set and drive to be the GOAT.

Or did the ball slip out of his hands? all players at all levels make mistakes, they all turn over the ball even the greatest!

Different competition too. Players are now faster, stronger, taller, with higher on court intelligence. Its a totally different game with its world wide appeal and scouting. Lebron will be a GOAT no doubt about that. But to compare him to Jordan would be missing the point. Bron might not seem to be the pure scorer that Jordan is but look at his assist, rebounding, blocks, steals, and consistency. If Lebron were to only care about scoring, who would really doubt his ability to do so? He's got the size, the speed, the power and the accuracy to shoot 40pts+ per game if that's all that mattered in a game of basketball these days.

I love Jordan and he has been my childhood hero/idol but its seeing Lebron play that makes this game amazing to me again. I said it before and I'll say it again, Lebron makes the whole team play better.

And to the haters of Lebron and the Heats. I went thru the same stuff with Kobe back when he had Shaq. To now I still hate him as a player and the hate of course embodies the Lakers too. Its all good. We're all just really passionate about the game. Lebron won season and finals MVP, Heats won the championship, Im happy as a mofo right now.
