My hot tub does not allow me to set desired temperature any warmer than 104. Rarely will I see 105. It has been at 106 for days... As I type, 11:23 AM local time, 110 degrees outside.

I’ve been running the aerator 24/7. During the day it gets up to 95-96, and then I can get it back to about 90-91 overnight. If it weren’t for the aerator, warmest I have seen was 99. Yikes.

Over the weekend it was 98 at the cabin at 7000' Driving home thru Bakersfield area it was 105 until we hit Pyramid Lake, then it dropped below 100. By the time we got home to the 'Nard it was a balmy 81.

This morning, dense fog alerts. Of course, I just washed hte truck last night when we got home. . .

Mid-80's F here today, with tolerable humidity despite some noontime popup thunder sprinkles.

Forecast here is for a mid-to-late week heatwave, which in our region is defined as 3 days in a row with 90+ F highs.....

Our unusually mild summer is about to return to the normal temp and humidity range. It's going to feel crappy after the decent weather we've enjoyed so far. We've been far luckier than most of the nation, though, so we're thankful for that.

We're under a severe thunderstorm watch until 8:00 PM. My home lightning sensors are sending alerts for storms about 20 miles out. You can take it to the back that they will be arriving where I work at exactly Yabba Dabba Dooo time.....

We were supposed to get that, but it didn't materialize. The weather has been very patchy with thunderstorms these last couple days. Black clouds in the distance and sunny skies above for the most part.
