Some interaction with my MIL's cat...which is a complete terror, so they stay away from it.

I did start the introductions with the calmest of the 3. I can set this one in a down and she won't budge, which allowed Portia to run around her. No sniffing, no interaction, just seeing each other. This process will be harder with the other two...
That being, I took the fluffy beasts outside, set all 3 in a down, and let the kitty explore the upstairs some, dog free. I put up a baby gate, maybe will make this process easier. Finally - I've again confirmed my suspicions that cats are aliens. Here you can see her gathering trade secrets and sending them back to her mother land.

We trapped this guy as a kitten years ago and a friend of mine adopted him. This cat bends in ways that should be impossible. He sleeps in the oddest positions.

Second the cat toy post. Although we have these small fuzzy balls that they love to bat around and play with.

My wife was supposed to fly back to Asheville on June 29, spend a week and then we would all drive back to FL together. Then she got mild COVID and we decided it was best for her not to travel (and save the PTO days). So I drove back with the dogs yesterday by myself, locking doors with engine running in my F83 when I needed a pit stop. Not ideal and a very long day on my own, but it’s done and I’m glad I left in Saturday instead of today. Long way of getting to the pic of the 2 having a drink at a rest stop. Well one dog having a drink and the second trying to get her tiny head in the bowl.

Earlier in the week (4th of July), Winston communicated his displeasure over fireworks in Asheville. They went on until 1 am, which followed the nearby minor league baseball team’s fireworks extravaganza on July 3 and preceded leftover fireworks usage on July 5. He really hates this time of year and because of it, I’m starting to as well.
