New to me watch day, a Grade A Speedmaster Automatic and it really is a gateway drug to the Moon Watch.

I received an offer that I couldn't refuse and sold the Speedmaster Reduced and replaced it with a Moon Watch 3570.50 Hesalite model. I think the 42mm watch fits much better on my 7" wrist. My late fathers birthday was July 21, it is a special date for me and I'll think of him when I wear it.

No client work today so I thought that I'd shoot my Moon Watch.

I'm trying to order a blue leather deployant OEM strap from my OB, but they told me 6-8 weeks. Sheesh!

The new Moon watch has been announced, I'm loving the retro design but will admire it from a distance as I have a Seamaster Chronograph with blue dial that I'm focused on next.

No but it's been all over IG, Reddit and I'd start with the Omega website.

Not that I’ll ever be that deep, but I gravitate to Seamasters partly due to my former maritime career. I also own a Planet Ocean and a heritage model.

Thank you! I want to try to find a good sapphire caseback that will work with it so I can stare at the 321

Slightly OT for this forum, does anyone know if Omega is still shipping the “SILVER SNOOPY AWARD” 50TH ANNIVERSARY watch to their authorized dealers in the US or has production stopped and you have to pay exorbitant prices to second hand sellers?

Not really OT!
Sadly I’m not sure I have an answer. Maybe call up an AD that isn’t a boutique? I highly recommend Feldmar in Los Angeles. They will also ship over the world - friend of mine in NY got a Trilobe from them, brand new at a discount, and they shipped! Usually very knowledgeable about the brands they are an AD for, including Omega.

My understanding is that they can only be purchased at an OB. The Silver Snoopy is a regular production watch, however, they don't make very many of them. I can only speak for my OB, but I'm actually expecting a call for one in the next 2 to 3 months. I'm sure the "requirements" differ from store to store. I have a fairly good purchase history with my OB, and only had to wait maybe two months for an allocation. If you're really interested in the watch and don't want to spend $xx,xxx to "qualify" at an OB, then spending the extra going gray market actually makes sense

I just sent an email to Omega asking if they could refer me to an AD that has a Snoopy in stock. Let's see how they reply.

That is like paying an ADM for a car. On principle alone, I refuse to pay more than the $10,600 price listed on Omega's website.
