I was in the locker room yesterday lacing up my sneaks getting ready to get after it. Slightly stress w/ work and other things, I thought to myself "I don't appreciate this enough, how lucky am I to be able to do something I love everyday". Some people might think it's sad, but really the gym is one of my favorite places to be. Everything else just melts away and you get to see how far you can push yourself each day. So satifying and enjoyable, hope the feeling never fades. Girlfriend has different opinions since instead of getting home around 3-4 each day its more like 5-6 haha.

Sitting at work as we speak amped up for leg day afterwards, can't wait to get in there!!!

I feel you man. For me the gym and anytime I drive (loooove my car and music) are those bright spots of my day where all troubles disappear and my mind is free.

Started bulking a couple weeks ago and have put on a couple pounds and gotten stronger. So far so good thankfully. I think I've run into an overtraining situation though as my wrists are in a lot of pain. I think some of the ligaments have gotten stretched and inflamed.

Loll.

Yeah I've been going aggressive on the weight and I've probably been bending my wrists too much on the bench. I'm one of those pussies who wears gloves with wrist straps but I'm clearly not tightening the wrists enough.

Try Strength wraps instead of your typical generic velcro wraps.

Try not folding wrists over. Had similar issues for years but changed my grip slightly and all good now.

After things settle down........maybe add some forearm work in if you aren't doing it already. I used to train forearms with a group of arm-wrestlers years ago when they would come in to train.

Wrist curls, reverse grip wrist curls, rope work, grip work etc. And we would use different bar thicknesses and things such as "Fat Grips". Forearms can be painful especially training with those guys, but forearm/grip strength seems to increase pretty rapidly if you are persistent.

Nice swim session for me today. CNS smoked from the past few heavy volume days. My joints were happy to be in the water.

For those who deal with inflammation and are serious about recovery....look at drinking Hydrogen water during and after your workouts. I experience less inflammation and quicker recovery after drinking 16oz. The shit works!

Holy Moly my legs feel like jello. The heavy leg presses were nothing...it's the lunges. I believe it hits everything from quads, hammies and calves! Enjoying my Syntha 6 Chocolate batter shake right now!
