but why? it looks like you just slapped two bare bulbs on the scene and that was that.

four. I'm not sure what you want me to explain? i wanted to light it up without getting really long shadows...it's a 400 foot long building.

It's the 100 2.8 V1 and it is a top performer. This was close to being a 1:1 photo.

I'm working on exposing to the right a bit more, and it's working for me, but it's hard to find that fine like when shooting a white boat as your main object in direct sunlight

so a little over exposed but i can live with it.

shot with the 7D and 24-70 f2.8L on ISO 640 at 1/640th of a second F 6.3

I've been trying to shoot a little higher ISO lately too, sometimes it works out for me, sometimes not.

I spotted a bald eagle while up there, but it was such a long way away, and i cranked the ISO up, so nothing really worked out. Plus shooting those distances and getting detail isn't realistic.
