Another Summer day, 82°F...

Our "windows season" between heat and AC was exactly two days this year. I told my DW that we are not going to be installing opening windows and bug screens when we build our retirement Garage Mahal, because it isn't worth the money for something that only gets used a few days per year.....

Ugh. Hope that goes away quickly.

Was sunny and near 80F here yesterday. 40F, rainy and windy as hell today. Sucks. Although we do need the rain.

It was Thursday March 30th when I woke up and the temp was 6 F. This past Thursday it was 88 F, Friday it topped out at 83 F. Yesterday it was 33 F and snowing. So a 82 degree swing in two weeks, then a 50 degree swing in two days. What's next???

In other news our lake is open and free of ice. We are west of Minneapolis about 20 minutes.

We went from walking in shorts and t-shirts one day to heavy jackets the next. Always like this during tornado season. Hot and cold air masses don't mix well.

Woops, time to do a 180: 87°F forecast this afternoon and back down to 33°F Sunday night.

Our long term averages for this stretch are 46°F AM and 67°F PM.
