The NYC media is calling for Stormy weather in Manhattan this afternoon. Otherwise, mostly sunny and near 70F...typical weather for May.....

Finally some warmer weather in the forecast this coming weekend in Minneapolis. Should be 60's by Saturday. We had a very snowy winter, something like the 5th snowiest winter on record. Hopefully the excess snow will mean our lake water levels will come back up. Our lake and other surrounding lakes people had their boats getting stuck on lifts last season due to the lack of water. We need more water here. Need those April showers.

Woke up to a thunderstorm and near freezing temps but still only rain here. Looks to be switching to snow east of Belleville. Strange that the temps are supposed to go up to 17C down here.

It hit 74 F and sunny here yesterday. When I walked in the door at home, I was greeted by a blast of hot air...and one annoyed OCD psycho dog...because it was close to 80 F in the house. Turned the central AC on for the first time in 2023, and the dog was happy after that.

Today is mid-50's and dank overcast, and then back into the mid-70's with rain and thunderstorms on Thursday.....

I didn't notice when the power went out, but multiple devices on my nightstand told me it came back on at 0245
No wind, no precipitation, no thunder.

Currently 57 and sunny, paka on in office.

Wouldn't it be nice if putting on summer rubber was enough to speed the arrival of the warmer weather so many of us are waiting for.

Just, please... not too warm.

Typically spring turns to summer here very quickly and we can get 100F+ temps.

No likey.

Alternating between early summer hot and late spring cool here. And that usually means nasty T-Storms and tornadoes. It was in the 70s early this morning and will be in the high 30s tomorrow morning. But next week is looking great. Hope that forecast holds.

I'm spending ski week at a friend's condo in Kirkwood, CA. The weather is perfect now with several days of sunshine before the next snow forecast. Here it is April 5 and more snow coming. It's been in the teens during the day. Tomorrow will be in the 30s so it's starting to warm up. Let's hope it doesn't warm up too fast or this historic snow pack will create havoc with melted snow flooding the valley.

We've had so much snow they are concerned about roof collapsing. They are beginning to clear the snow off the roofs. Here are a couple of pics of one of the units where I am staying. Incredible.

BTW, the ski conditions are phenomenal.

If there is that much snow on the rooftops, there must be that much on the ground. How on earth is the local wildlife dealing with snow that deep?
