Shit, sorry Sarah, now i sound like some fucking father, which I'm am not, and wya too young to be. Just have had a lot of GFs and girls that were just my friend. I just have always been ok being bymyself, never needed a girl on my shoulder and I seemed to have less issues than my friends. But who knows, maybe I was just shit lucky.

Your 21 right? No offense to anyone on these boards, but guys don't know what they want or how to be a man at 21 (or at least most don't). Its amazing to me how many 21-23 year olds WANTED to date me and my friends (raging in age from 25-29) BECAUSE of our age. Most guys before 25 are trying to prove something and don't really know what they are doing with a woman, just like most woman aren't comfortable with who they are until their late 20s.

ha! I just turned 32, and I can't stand most guys MY age! I feel for my girlfriends in the dating scene.

Right now, I have 3 openings on my team paying $50-$75k /yr. I've had one opening for 5 mos, I can't find a decent hard working person to take the job. They're positions usually desired by young engineers, but the applicants (I've had 100's) are a bunch of 20-something punks. I go out on the weekends, what do I see? Smokin' hot girls with douches. Gangsta wannabees. In my group of frineds, 3 are married, 1 is single. It's funny how many times the single guy pics up a girl, and her friends all sit down to talk to us. They're happy just to talk to a guy that's as young as them and not a moron!

I think where you live might have something to do with your troubles......large colleges or larger metropolitan areas offer more diversity, making dating easier. I was at the gym the other day and this drop dead gorgeous ex-model who is 22 works there and I always say hi and talk to her. Turns our, my buddy there asked whether I was married, and he said, "No, why?". Her response: "Well, why then won't he ask me out?". I was thinking, wtf, I was just being nice. He seems to think its cause I am some guy under 30 who never tries to impress her or get her attention, who jus treats her well and who appears to be very secure and set with who he is. Go figure......this is something I am just starting to understand myself.
