I agree, however usc is no joke. Washington was lucky they didn't have to face them again in the Pac 12 championship.

Recent Washington alum here.

I never really noticed the student body caring for football as much as they do at other schools and it showed again yesterday. The Georgia Dome was all red from inside, and many restaurants/bars in the metro region weren't the least bit full. An average Seahawks regular season game draws a bigger crowd (bandwagon fans).

Go Clemson.

I was commenting on how OSU's manhandling by Clemson was indicative of how wrong the CFB Playoff Committee was to screw over PSU.

Sam Darnold is legit, he should have been in since game one. That kid is going help USC win the Pac12 next two years.

Penn St should have been in the playoff. They wouldn't have put up a giant goose egg against Clemson. OSU definitely overrated.

Big 10 fail in bowl games, 3-7 record.

Media hyped them up so bad. Their non-conference schedules are a joke. They play no one. Then they go to these bowl games and get exposed.

I'm bias for sure since I went to USC, but this Rose Bowl was the best college game in my memory. What a game! Both teams played their hearts out. USC prevailed even in the face of a determined Penn State and a few questionable calls here and there.

It was just so exciting. Unlike another exiting Rose Bowl game in 2006 between USC and Texas, USC was on the winning side of this amazing contest. What a game!

Can't wait to see how Sam Darnold does next year.

I agree that the Big 10 failed miserably in bowl games this year and were overrated but saying that they're the only ones who play a weak non-conference schedule is ridiculous. Alabama faced the following non-conference teams this year: Western Kentucky Hilltoppers, Kent State Golden Flashes, and the powerhouse Chattanooga Mocs. ALL teams usually play weak non-conference games.

I dont usually fault Bama for a weak out of conference schedule, since they roll through everyone else, but they need to start getting penalized for it from the committee. Not miss the playoffs penalized, but maybe not give them #1 seed right out the gate.

Loved seeing the Big 10 "powerhouses" lose in the bowls. Remember when all 3 of them should be in the top 4 according to some "Experts"?

OU looked good though. Wish Auburn's qb didnt get hurt, so people couldnt use that as an excuse, but was nice seeing OU's offense put up great numbers vs those vaulted SEC Defenses.
