Basically text game on these apps is a shit show. Somethings certain girls find funny others will be turned off by. Most chicks never respond or will exchange a few messages at most.

At a certain point I stopped caring and became more assertive with what I desired. It worked but now I've backed off. Not interested in hook ups anymore, would rather just go out and have a good time!

I honestly found that internet dating sites lowered my self esteem. You are putting yourself out there in hopes that someone will bite, when no one does you begin to wonder what is wrong with me. Once I shut down all my dating sites/apps I felt better about myself. To be honest, in this area of the rural south it's nothing but a bunch of overweight government assistance advantage taking, low income, uneducated, entitled women who think they should be worshiped along with supporting their 5 kids whose 3 separated daddy's are in jail for manufacturing methamphetamine or not paying child support. Not even worth the time....and to think, these are the people that allowing you to feel bad about yourself. Nah....personally I'm better than that.

I learned to adapt and become in control of my emotions. I learned to not want what I thought I wanted and redirect my focus elsewhere. Kind of like shooting the hostage type mentality.

There's also a reason a lot of these women are on dating sites.

For some, they truly have a hard time meeting people due to work schedule, location, being shy, etc. Those are few and far between though. Many of them just have mental issues or want the gratification for their egos.

I remember taking a college sociology class that studied dating sites and the percentages of what people actually were looking for. Surveys were distributed, and the results indicated that small percentages of women actually swiped right on anyone, and an even smaller percentage wanted relationships or hookups. Most wanted the attention, which makes sense considering the nature of social media. Guys had a higher percentage of hookups, but had a similar amount of attention seeking/ego building.

Exactly. The women that men who want fruitful relationships with are already taken. The same concept applies with employers looking for employees. Rarely you will find a good employee who is a victim of circumstance but mostly those who are constantly looking for jobs, I have found, tend to be those that job hop or are not valid candidates.

In the same notion, the few times that I have been on dating sites, you will often find the same people on there over and over again. The problem isn't that they can't find a good person to match with, the problem is them.

that is exactly why i deleted my first tinder account back in 2017. i spent a few months on their and met a couple of cool girls, but for the most part i just ended up hating myself. i didnt bother with online dating again until just this week.

now that im back on it is the same shit emotions. we will see how long i can take it before i give up again.

im still keeping my tinder/bumble because it makes my life easier to some extent but it is kinda sad (i guess) because it's literally just physical. im not even after some "emotional bond" or anything outside of it but it gets boring after a while for sure, imo almost no difference than rubbing one out vs having a one night stand. friends with benefits though? suuuuper happy to have 2 that i can count on

eh, just have 3-4 "stages" for your lady friends is what i'd say
stage 0: one night stand
self explanatory
stage 1: hookup partner
literally all you do is sleep together, no exclusivity or any "time spending" out of sex
stage 2: friends with benefits
do many things together, literally friends but with sex as well
stage 3: LTR/GF/whatever you want to call it
stage 2 evolves into this, do not think stage 0/1 will immediately become gf material that quickly

though i get the vibe you know exactly what i'm referencing...

people soft af because today there are many issues within the legal system and how stuff is treated/punished. many of these "issues" arose because people stopped being rational and started being emotional...
