Got 90%+ back on second round of teeth too, so net cost for his cleaning and 25 extractions and medicine was well under $500. Now they will probably jack up our rates when it next renews for get their money back, but happy for now.

We call that a "working cat", one that's earning its cat food.

Yeah, that's a well-known fact, as evidenced by our posting seconds apart!

Poor boy had gastropexy, rear toes removed, and apparently the nut sack is somehow missing as well. 3 weeks - cone of shame. Feel so bad for him
Currently drugged out of his mind.

It's the high upper ones on the back paw (with the claw). Typically breeders remove these when the pups are born...but for some reason, this breeder did not. Thus, they get removed when 'the boys' get removed. Not really a big deal, they were just kind of dangling there...

Instead of the cone, we used a baby onesie. Made our girl get around easier.

I think a cat would have to be totally drugged out in order to get one in it.
We had to come up with something other than the cone of shame for our girl. She was so small and kept running into things with it on. Also I couldn't take laughing any more. |

One time she went to her cat box and I guess she got cat sand in the collar. I assume she started to clean herself and licked the cat sand and it made her vomit. I didn't know any of this was happening until she came running by me and was crying (meowing). She had cat sand mixed with vomit in her collar. So after that I had to watch her closely and when she started to go to her cat box I would remove the E-collar and then put it back on when she was done. This is not easy to do because she fights and struggles when I go to put it on. Hope she never has to wear one again. Poor kitty. PS - obviously the collar had to be removed when she was eating and drinking as well. Those collars are bad... mmmkay? Last edited by Esteban; 05-06-2023 at 01:22 PM.. |
