I always have some kids who will pull up next to me at a red light and ask me if I'm hot in the LA summers... They ask this because they are usually in a wife beater and maybe a vest, if that... With gloves that end before the wristbone... So I always tell them the same thing... Yeah I'm hot in my leather jacket, but I get to go home and wash off the sweat... You're potentially looking at 9 months of skin grafts where they cut the skin off of your ass to utilize...

Won't ride without my helmet either... Made that mistake once...

New injectors swapped in and coded today. INPA is an adventure of questionable software configuring, but all seems to be working fine... aside from resetting adaptations afterward and my throttle body freaking the fuck out, but such is life with an old turbo car.

No...was considering bringing the i8. But time caught up to me, and definitely won't be. Just not worth it for 6 more weeks.

Once I get back to SoCal- I plan to join your league. I've decided that I'm losing my youth and YOLO.

So the i8 will stay in the stable as my daily. And will lease the cheap Lambo (hurracan) with normal doors. The lease deals are actually pretty good on them right now

A hurracan does attract less attention FYI- I said the cheap model, not the aventador.

Hurracans around SoCal are like 3 series. You seem em every day. Not to mention the lease deals right now are m6 price range with (in retrospect) not much of a cap cost down

Oh yeah, I dint mean to imply that! Just that the Bowzer face swap would be awesome. I don't want to contribute to your body dysmorphia. You're absolutely correct that name wise- Lambo>BMW.

But the aventador is nothing "special" nor does it look like its big brother. What's cool about the i8 is that it looks like it came from the future which is (my humble opinion) the reason it calls out more attention. That + while more get on the road- people still haven't seen them as much as an hurracan .

Sure car heads would rather drool over the hurracan, but the majority of people (from my experience) are more curious about the i8. Think of it being the girl in 7th grade who came back after summer vacation with C cups (after being an A just 3 months prior)

It's the only sense I can make of it.
