And I understand the frugal part. I have said it many times on here, but we budget our monthly expenses on what our income was almost 15 years ago.

We have our vices, but we indulge them infrequently. Otherwise, we are content with what we have. And if we want something...we just don't typically get it even though we can afford to pay cash then.

We actually set the money aside for it and save like we didn't have the cash for it.

It's sad to watch people burn through money like they do. My brother is a prime example. He has a John Deer mower and not that big of a yard.

But he bought a zero turn mower used for around $800 cause he had to have it. He then turned around and sold it 3 days later for almost $1,300. I told him that was great, he made $500.

But his reasoning is that now that I have $1,300...I only have to add a couple hundred more and I can get an even nicer one.

That kind of thinking just leaves me astounded sometimes.

I'm trapped, at home, with my two young kids, while my wife works. Unfortunately, this forum and all of you are going to become my outlet until I can get back to normal and be a nice human again. Though I intend on taking a long walk with the dog to help my mental state as soon as my wife gets home from work most days.

I've had Eibach springs sitting in my dining room all winter but I'm probably gonna wait longer to install them since I need help. I did refinish my old scratched up carbon fiber spoiler and sold it yesterday so that felt good!

I feel you. I put mine on hold back in October due to a few surgeries. Last surgery was in december, recovered, then the corona-pocalypse happened. Was going to have RSR down springs installed on the Lexus by spring, but that didn't happen. Work is giving us a nice little bonus for continuing to be essential (aka human expenditure) workers during all this. I'll most likely stuff the money into savings until this passes and resume the build using that.

hey - my brain isn't a daily driver

I grabbed coffee with my old roommate because he's stuck on campus too, ended up walking around for almost 2 hours and I feel much better about not being a slob. I'm guessing this will become more of a thing and I realized how much realistic the outdoors are than these two screens in front of me
