Charlies Ferrari runs like a bullet (P1)

It's not bouncing like FP3, so that's a decent sign. But it isn't as stable as an RB or Ferrari so there's that.

The red bull wings and ferrari wings are flexing about the same amount.

In another note I think I see floor stays on the ferrari now, like I suspected teams will be making the floor thinner to save weight and use the stays to keep rigidity.

New Ferrari ERS is pretty powerful. I wonder why ferrari decided to release the ERS so early, generally you want to develop as close to the Sept 1 deadline as possible.

But he out qualified ham while with merc too, so not unfamiliar.

Yes I think so too.
Also with that long straight it will be easier for a RB car to overtake a ferrari than vice versa.

But things like tyre degradation and pitstop strategy/tyre choice will probably be an important factor.

Ferrari has 2 hards 1 medium.

Redbull has 2 mediums 1 hard.

Could be interesting.

Interesting I think George ran with more rear downforce vs. Lewis which caused more bouncing. He has a gurney flap on his rear wing, which allows for the flow to stay attached longer so more down force.

Very. I think the 2 mediums 1 hard is better, but it is supposed to be even hotter tomorrow so idk. Generally we don't see 2 hards during pits so idk.

MAX knew he had to be faster in the slower corners ...And he (completely) lost it there !

It's really amazing how fast the Ferrari's are in the slow corners , 0.2/0.3 sec. faster than the RB18 !

Thought that Charlies new Ferrari PU would be faster on the long straight ...

BOT was the biggest surprise of the day !
