If you drive 3 cars width into a corner, and one is narrowing in, you get a crash.
Exactly the same as in Qatar with HAM, RUS and VER.
In Qatar I thought there maybe would have been teamorders, that RUS might be ordered to reduce pace for HAM and tuck behind Max to make a MERC sandwich, but that wasn't the case, and then you get the same thing.

These are indeed classed as racing incidents, but imo that doesn't exclude that someone was very stupid
In Qatar it was HAM with a stupid move, and here it was PER.
And that move from PER could have been a bigger disaster, as taking out LEC could just as much have ment that LEC would also take out Max.
You never know what a crashing car is going to do....

Nah... charles drove into the bottle neck. checo and max squeezed him and he didn't yield. no fault of his, or checo's. And max had nothing to do with it all, but it would have been nice if he had a start as good as Checo's was.

Checo should have taken it more conservative. But he gets to suffer through that decision and put the pressure on himself to keep P2 in the drivers championship, which I think is going to come down to the last race... I'd put money on Ham taking it, but I'd like for it to be close.

It just doesn't seem like we can say that this was an issue of a fan fighting someone over the results in the race. It's one guy (not wearing Checo gear) in a sea of people wearing Checo/RB gear. It's also one fan. I recall a whole bunch of stuff happening in Austria last year where F1 came out with statements... and a bunch of guys got arrested in Silverstone. This stuff happens all over the world. And as others noted, it is pretty small stuff compared to what happens in the football/soccer world...

According to the media , it was a Checo fan . He wasn't happy that Charlie knocked Checo out ..
Few RB fans came in between in RB gear , just to stop the fight. And a Red Bull fan took the big guy down ...
They arrested the big guy , he got a lifetime ban.

With Viaplay having to sell the F1 rights, there is a chance that Ziggo might get the broadcasting right back again, and maybe see Mol and Plooij back again on TV (this interview was of course held by Jack Plooij).

I think those two have a really good bond with the drivers, team managers etc because they've worked for so long in F1. That makes for good interviews I think.
Viaplay is just awful in that regard. Especially when Stephane Cox was pit reporter imho.

Hoping the Fernando to Red Bull rumors are true. Max needs at least a half decent teammate to make things interesting (unless the RB penalty somehow ends up bringing the closer to the pack next year).

The fact that a rusty Danny Ricardo, who struggled mightily against Lando Norris, outperformed Sergio Perez in an Alpha Tauri vs the best car on the grid, tells you everything you need to know about Sergio at this point.

At this point, Max and RB are playing the game within a game. In all likelihood, they'll bring back DR because he's another safe bet alongside Max
